Good Morning!!!!

Best wishes Sabby. Hopefully a treatment plan will unveil itself.

Been pottering about since about 5:45...have laundry in the works, cleaned the bathrooms, straightened up a bit. I'm heading to the gym here in a few. Have to go to work for a bit for annual competencies. Then going to chill out after that.

Good morning everyone! Best of luck Sabby - hope you feel tons and tons better after.

Had a lovely evening last night. It was my quilting guild's end of season dinner. today, I get my luxury/necessity back: a lady who cleans my house every two weeks. I had someone coming before but I had to let her go when I lost a couple of clients. I've since then gained 4 or 5 new clients, so I really am too busy to keep the house up as I'd like it. I figure if she's working while I'm working, I benefit because she's earning a living doing something she likes to do (and she does like it) and I'm earning a living doing what I like to do.

Have a great day everyone.

Good day to all,

Prayers for Sabby. Yesterday was great day out with GD and the guy. She gives thumbs up for him so that is good. After our outing we went swimming. My swimming has improved. Still poor swimmer but improving. I hate getting my face wet so GD has made that her mission, to get gramma's face in the water.

Finally we have the first strawberries from our garden. GD has been watering and watching them grow and so got the gift of the first berry. It is a small patch and the first time I have grown the beauties so the same rules will apply as with the peas. They should never reach the house. Eat them warmed by the sun and snack freely. The rule is fun to watch as GD keeps the peas picked daily. She announces gleefully that the peas are the size you would get in the stores but so much better.

Squash plants are putting out very small zucchini. Will be ready to eat in a couple of days. Cukes not far behind. I want to start eating them. I hate trying to think of summer meals until we can have these treats with each meal. Still have a little lettuce but their days are numbered.

I have been watering the strawberries (or GD does) and the Green Zebra tomatoes. The rest will have to care for themselves as I am hoarding water from the rain barrel. I do sometimes hit the container herbs but mostly keep fingers crossed for a little rain.

Electrician is coming tomorrow so have to clear out my room. I have a bag of books that will go to the second hand book store but usually I came back with more than I take in for credit. I have not had time to do much reading lately so maybe I can come home with fewer than I cash in.

Today is my grief group. I plan to no longer attend after today. I need to focus on getting my group started and Tues. has become a social experience that I no longer need. I like the social aspect but that is not what I used to go for. I feel I have out grown it and a leader agrees so it is the day for my goodbyes. I hope to still keep in touch and have lunch monthly but it will free up almost an entire day to stop going.

Today looks to be a beautiful day. Sunny and quite warm. Hope all of you have a sunny day.

Sabby I hope the MRCP goes well.

Hi AKY Grace clemm Tweety Mary.

Posted several hours ago, not sure what happened to the post.

Last shift was decent, fewer patients than usual. One patient was having problems, and the doctor was being less than helpful. We got him settled and stable, but it was a bit tiring. Going back tonight, then off until the weekend.

Had to stay up for part of the morning, waiting for the AC repairman. Fortunately they were only here briefly, as they weren't able to repair the unit. Which meant that I got to sleep after they left. The landlord says he'll have a replacement by Fri.

Looks increasingly like I'll leave for Madison on Thurs. Weather outlook seems stable, no rain Thursday but some possible Fri. Still, I may wait until Wed to make a reservation. Or I might be daring and do it now...

Wellllll . . .. Sabby, how are you? :redbeathe

Been a good day here - spent time with my son and then we took the dogs over to the firehall for their rabies shots and licenses. Took the lab first then went back with the two wiener dogs - no way could we have controlled the two little guys with a 3rd dog in the mix. Even thought Jack is an older dog who just lumbers around.

Danny is watching a Star Wars movie after running through the sprinkler. I'm thinking of joining him and napping although it is kinda late (4:32 p.m.).

No hospice calls so far.

You all have a lovely rest of the day. :redbeathe

Steph I am doing fine at the moment, MRCP was ok although the tech got a little snippy with me because my stomach was full!!! I made one boo boo and swallowed a mouthfull of water 2 hours before going, I HAD been fasting since 8PM the night before so hello!!. I was brushing my teeth and swallowed without thinking. She said that it made it hard to see the ducts. I got so upset and have spoken to other techs and the Drs office and they said that should not have made any difference. Ummm maybe there is something else going on there huh? Anyway the Drs office said I will hear from my specialist and we will find what is next. I DO want this resolved and the doctor is aware of this. I hope I don't get that tech again if I have to have the MRCP repeated. I HATED that test with a passion, got clostrophobic and really had to talk myself into remaining calm. The tech kept wanting me to hold my breath for a gazillion minutes. Hard to do when you are freaking out  :crying2:
