Stars I hope the knee settles down

NJ22 glad to hear the gabapentin helps

New referral process went fairly smoothly, thankfully my own work was pretty light.  Will take some time to get the process figured out and adjusted to

Rest of the day was fairly normal, just the usual exercise

Have been noticing I consistently get up 20 or 30 minutes before my alarm.  Sometimes I get back to sleep and sometimes I can't.  Wonder if I need to get up earlier or go to bed later....

After work supposed to meet J for dinner, but have a feeling we'll have to cancel.  J has an infected toe and the antibiotics are proving very hard on his stomach

Will be another day in the 30s, might get some light snow later today

Yay it's Friday!  And a three-day weekend!  Next time off is for a festival the first weekend in March: Bluegrass on the Beach, in Havasu.  We have never been to this particular festival, and have heard good things about it, so are looking forward to going.  Lord willin' and the crik don't rise!

Poor J!  Hope his toe isn't too painful, and what can be done to minimize stomach upset with the Abx???  Hope he is better soon.

Hello to all, and have a good day!

Hello!

We are, they say, waiting for an ICE storm, as we are 'too far South' to get the heavy snow other places are having predicted. So, 1/2" to 1" of ice, depending on where and when it starts. Rain, freezing rain, and bad roads. We have no where to go, so let it ...Well, maybe not. Wouldn't like to lose power (heat! light!). Got out the flashlights and battery lanterns; we also have several down blankets. Now I am looking forward to Tuesday, when all this mess of confused weather will be moved elsewhere.

At least hubby and I didn't have to do the proverbial pre-storm "bread and milk run"!

Right now I am watching TV with the other 'in-mates' here at The Home. May go to bed early (haha may TRY to go to bed early...) The trick is, when will I feel sleepy, stop reading and turn out the light? Print junkies always say:"---Just one more paragraph, one more page; I'll put in the bookmark at the end of this chapter...." And the next thing ya know, it's almost 3 AM!

Everyone stay safe!

Anyone in the path of the storm, stay safe!

No Stars, how are the gypsies?  Are they getting better?  I read like that too.  Before you know it, it's 1, 2 , 3 a.m.!  And then when I finish the book, I'm too wound up "digesting" it, and can't get to sleep then either!

Oh well.

My left knee is better than it was.....the pain's not so sharp as it was. I didn't have to use the crutch today like I did yesterday, but I do have the knee wrapped for support, and have been using the hot water bottle periodically throughout the day.

Our 'winter storm warning' says it will be here between 6 PM tomorrow and last through late-ish on Monday. Nannie is, as always, though she denies it, fretting up a storm about the storm. You would think we are in a place where the snow can pile up at least 16 feet high, we might run out of food and/or freeze to death.

Only possibility I wouldn't like would be if the power was out after dark....because it makes it hard to read!😊
