Morning

The week is nearly over

Work got a little crazy but eventually settled down.  Hopefully today will be less busy

Got shopping and laundry done yesterday.  Will exercise after work tonight

J's houseguests leave tomorrow morning, so we'll get together on Sunday

Weather has been quite nice here, low 80s, rain has held off

Morning-

I have certainly lucked out on weather for my staycation.  Going to be in the low 80s today ad sunny.  Right now I'm waiting for a friend to pick me up and we are headed back to Block Island for the day.  I'll see DD for a bit, but she is working a double so she won't be able to hang out with us.  I spent most of yesterday at a local beach.  I'm going through a lot of sunblock this summer, 😂.  I really don't want to go back to work on Monday.

Joe-I hope today is less hectic for you.

Hope all have a good day!

G'day!

Slept in late after feeding the dog and having first coffee still.

Off today, they needed help and I really could use the money to help pay for my new stove coming tomorrow, but couldn't bring myself to volunteer.  Other floors and the float team will have to help.

Just ordered some canned goods and stuff from Amazon Pantry.  It sure is more convenient than driving to Whole Foods for stuff and keeps me from overspending.  But then again I bought two books and a CD.  DOH.

Nothing much going on today.

Morning.

Joe: Glad you and BCgradnurse have nice weather.

Tweety: I know you will enjoy your day off.

Yesterday I used Bondo and paint to fill a place on my car that I messed up three years ago. It looks much better. My Saturn is ten years old and running great. I think it still has lots of miles to go.

Hi, our weather continues to be nice. We had a little rain during the night, but the sun is out again, light breeze, mid 70s. It is supposed to heat up tomorrow and next week. Angus and I went to a local park/wildlife reserve for our walk this morning. He even waded into the river, which is unusual in that he usually hates water. Dd and I met for lunch and then I stopped at Costco. I purposely did not get a cart to limit spending. Ds and I may go to the "food truck round-up" being held tonight in our little town. I think there is BBQ, Salvadoran, and Indian foods available.

I don't blame you Tweety at all for not going in to work. Yes money is good, but one's mental health is more important. Wow, herring, auto body work?! We usually drive our cars until they are past the point of repair. We seem to average around 200,000 to 300,000 miles before they give up they ghost. dh used to be a sales rep so he drove a lot of miles.

Happy Friday

Friday!  Yay!

Nice sense of accomplishment, herring, to do the car repair!  kudos!

I would have declined the OT as well, Tweety.  Agree with nurseJ!

Continue to enjoy your vacation, BC!

Off on time.  Not a bad day.  Did get the three computers replaced in one of the cath labs.  They had been wonky for a month or so, apparently.  All I did was enter the work orders and IT showed up and fixed 'em!  Yay!

Quiet evening planned for tonight.  We have to be up early tomorrow, and do a 30-min drive, planning to ARRIVE at the church at 0700!  So up and at 'em early!  We play at two services: 0830 and 1115.  Then we plan to go to lunch with the band (sushi has been chosen, I believe).  Probably nap in the afternoon!  Oh, wait.  Maybe not.  I may drive around and deliver CDs to nearby friends who indicated they wanted one.

Nothing special planned for Sunday.

Have a good evening!
