You are reading page 3 of 2018 Elections. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Yikes!!!

How did I get "quoted" above, for something I didn't write, and don't agree with?

Yes, there are several posts like this in this thread. It appears as if in addition to quoting the post, they are trying to multi-quote and include the post that was quoted as well.

Very confusing.

LOL!

You are right, Dude.

My sleep deprived brain overlooked the 2018 portion of the thread title.

My apologies.

If you think at this point in time that Trump won't be in the running in 2020, I'm worried there is more then sleep deprivation you should be worried about.

You're aware that public colleges and universities offer sports scholarships, too, right? Who do you think is funding those scholarships?

Sports scholarships aren't new. They don't explain the astronomical rise in college costs over the last 20-30 years.

And, those scholarships are only worth what the school says they are, or what they charge which isn't the real cost of what that student going for free or at a reduced rate costs them.

I doubt he can legally survive the fire storms surrounding him.

And Muller isn't finished.

Michael Cohen is interesting, and he's talking.

Keep on drinking the Kool-Aide, Dude!

At this point, if you are reading the Washington Post, NYT, BBC, or most other reputable reporting, it is perfectly reasonable to wonder if Trump will be in any legal position to run for ANY political office in 2020. There simply are too many appropriate questions about his ethics, honesty, and motivations when his business and personal conduct over decades are examined.

The Republican voters appear to be making political choices based in emotional rhetoric and spite. They will vote for racists, neonazis, and pedophiles if they feel that it will make "liberals cry". I tire of trying to have a conversation in a comment section only to be constantly troubled by conservative posters who believe that my "head has exploded" because the POTUS had again said or done some unprecedented thing.

It appears, from conservative dialog, that short yern

That's a sorry way to govern

I know, baloney!

When Trumpsters roll over, they sure do roll, don't they!

Michael Cohen is going to provide fascinating material.

Loved his latest bombshell: Trump Sr. knew about meeting with Donnie Jr. and Russians, even though Trump Sr. denied such knowledge.

I am far from unhinged. You must keep your wits about you to take on the enemy.

I consider Trump and apologists to be the enemy!

I do not consider Trump voters to be enemies.

I think that many of them are indoctrinated into a way of thinking. I think that their media outlets have been compromised by Russian intention to divide our nation. I think that the GOP has long used right wing focused TV and radio programming to convince their voters that they could not trust liberal mainstream media of any kind. I think that the Republicans wanted a narrow spectrum of sufficiently conservative media choices in order to have a coalesced and coordinated message.

I think that in 2016 the GOP lost control of the messaging of their citizen base when Putin flooded them with anti Clinton and anti liberal propaganda. There is a single face, voice, and vision for that party and the people now. TRUMP.

I think that a group of people who have been manipulated into self isolation in the larger world of information, who have been fed fear and loathing of others, who are distrustful of anything except that which comes from the leader or the promoted media is also known as a cult.

I don't think that republicans are my enemies, but they are currently acting exactly like they think so.

Don't you have whole another thread to make your "I hate Trump and anyone who voted for him" and "conservatives are stupid" themed comments.

What an intellectually dishonest dismissal of my remarks. I have thought better of you in pre-Trump days and discussions.

Besides, isn't it a bit naive to think that there could be a political discussion about upcoming elections that didn't factor in the Trump phenomenon? The very election itself could be in jeopardy when the POTUS isn't even convinced that Russia engaged in cyber attacks on our electoral process.

Finally, why would you be concerned about a political candidate allegedly misleading, when it is increasingly obvious that Trump lies as a habit, including lies about important matters?

I don't live in her district, so I don't really care. It's amazing to me how many people who have no intention or right to vote for her care about her campaign.

I think it started when the DNC Chairman declared she was the future of the party.

Ooh, big surprise. A far-right website is saying negative things about a Democratic candidate.
