You can always tell when Trump is reading the words of others.

And that is because he sounds like an 8-year-old, reading a book report.

You will notice, that his own words, flow very smoothly, at his pep rallies.

You know, when he talks of an "infestation," at the southern border, and "good people on both sides," those words are smooth as silk!

Or when he says "invasion" or being "invaded".  A new organization played clips of him using the word "invasion" regarding immigration at various relies and it was stunning that it went on and on and on.

The killer in El Paso drove 10 hours as he said to deal with the invasion.

BBC

According to the former assistant FBI  Director, Trump uses rhetoric which gives white supremacists license.  He uses language which incites and inflames the extremists.

It appears that the BBC journalist isn't as willing to accept the obfuscation and denial of the RNC spokesperson. It's embarrassing to watch Americans struggle so to pretend that obvious racism isn't racism at all.

So your suggestion is just for discussion boards? I also carry, both concealed and openly.  That literally has nothing to do with your suggestion.

Self reliance is too hard for liberals to understand.  The police have zero obligation to help you.  It's settled law.

There already are background checks.  Try keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally deranged.

This train of thought makes no sense to me.  Is each comment unrelated to the previous? Perhaps the common theme is simple animus?

The requirement of background checks only applies to sales through an FFL which does not account for all gun sales, purchasing guns without using an FFL is readily available on the internet.

I own guns and have no complaints of having a background check when purchasing a gun, and I can't imagine selling someone a gun without utilizing an FFL to transfer the firearm.  There are ways around universal background checks but by definition the only people who would sell guns illegally are people who shouldn't have them in the first place, so it would make sense to stop willingly supplying the black market with guns.

Internet purchases require going through an FFL dealer to do the transfer unless you are buying something that is not a complete weapon (no lower receiver).  If purchasing guns on the internet without an FFL intermediary its because it is legal.  There are not going to be illegal gun purchases readily available on the internet.  The ATF would be kicking those doors down.

What have conservative leaders done or recommended to reduce the number of these type shootings? Do you think that states with more lax regulations on firearms contribute weapons to the carnage at a higher rate than do states with stricter laws?

Chicago?

Yes, it is the kind of stuff that happens in shithole countries, as Trump likes to say.

And it is happening right here.

So I guess that means that Trump presides over a shithole country!

And another GOP member, from Ohio, is calling for a ban on assault weapons.

Michael Turner sits in the US House of Representatives, and his wife and daughter, were caught up in the massacre there.

I guess once the horror comes close to your loved ones, you take action.

He is also endorsed by the NRA.

It's pretty much a liberal stance, so I don't see how you don't think he's sincere about it, as most liberals are, but I can't define your world for you.

Yes, though pretty much 90% of what you see out of Biden (and Trump for that matter) is going to be about getting elected.

Trump is quite sincere about fighting terrorists and illegal immigrant criminals.  But seems to show no interest in making any kind of effort an helping combat an issue that kills probably hundreds of times more people.

In fact quite a bit of politicians and Americans are like Trump.

*shrugs shoulders*

You seriously think white supremacists kill more people than illegal aliens in this country?

The shooter seems to have to have ECO Terrorism beliefs.  Calling an invasion an invasion is somehow wrong?
