    Sir yes sir!

    Soldiering on to work today.

Had a nice day off yesterday. Didn't do much.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning. . .

. . . And March will keep marching on into April. . .

Tweety - Hope work is kind to you today.

Recently woke up. Dog is fed. Pressed the "On" button to the coffee maker. Took two Tylenol for the tooth-aching back, and gonna take three Ibuprofen in a couple of hours.

Last night's Ecumenical Ash Wednesday Service was nice and well-attended by many of the area church-goers. The choir sounded really nice. I've always enjoyed these ecumenical services.

Don't have much planned for today. . . except that I will be taking a power-walk later on.

Hope all have a good day!

Rose sorry things are so awful at work

Ted I hope your back feels better today

    Morning Davey and Tweety

Bit tired this morning, not sure why, slept OK. Same yesterday

Another pretty good day at work. Trying out a new process, thankfully it didn't screw things up much

Finally heard about the raise and bonus. Raise is kinda a joke this year, bonus better but less than previous years

Went out to dinner with J, this time I paid because of the bonus. Had only a few groceries to get so I did that after our date

Will get my hair cut today and exercise

Working with an artist on the design for the character for my costume, it's coming along well. Waiting to hear back from a costume maker, going to have her start making parts of the costume and I'll order the whole thing if it goes well

It went from 61 degrees at 10 PM yesterday to 39 degrees this AM. It will be colder Fri and Sat. Brrrrr.....come on Spring! Do I say that every day????

I'm looking forward to a weekend of "me" time. DS is going to visit a college friend and SO is going to visit his DD at college in Kansas. I'm working Saturday, but the rest of the time is mine. Not sure what I'm going to do, but books and sleeping late will be involved, and maybe dinner with a friend on Saturday night. I love my housemates, but I also do love being alone at times.

Ted-I'm sorry your back is still hurting. Maybe a little PT is in order? Tweety-hope work is kind today. Davey-great cartoon!

Hope all are well and have a good day.

Joe - Glad to read that you had a nice day at work, yesterday. Good to read that dinner with J went well. Appreciate the frustration over the poor raise increase. We didn't get much of a pay raise, either, despite a modest effort by our union to seek a bigger raise. (Our hospital is in the black, by the way. It's well into the black.)

BCgradnurse - It's snowing here with the temperature in the mid-30s. Yesterday, the temp was in the low-60s. Where is that Spring?!? Enjoy the alone time this week-end. Those alone-times are nice to have every once in a while.

Stepmom is alert and oriented with he humor intact! Much better to have her complainingn tan just restless and unresponsive!
The hospital was so crowded she was well cared for in ER 1 1/2 days. She finnaly got a room last evening.
Today I go to the pediatrician (also ortho doc) for my shoulder.

Good Morning! I'm baaaaack! And in one piece, too!

4 & 1/2 twelve hr shifts (in a row) later. . .Whew! Now all I have to do is look forward to my paychecks tomorrow and the following Friday.

We are going this afternoon to have our taxes done. Fingers crossed!

I have yet to catch up on the Good Morning threads from Friday through yesterday, but I will have done so . . . prolly by tonight.

Yesterday was 75 degrees and hubby was sitting out on the rocking chair on the front porch (his office, he calls it) in a t-shirt. The temps had begun to drop considerably during the evening, hubs had touched up the heat a degree or two. Before I went to bed several hours later, I forgot to turn down the thermostat, AND I forgot to turn on my ceiling fan. As a result I woke up in a ball of sweat under my down blanket; drenched! Yech!

Best get to the shower now. Hope everyone's day goes well!

    Good morning!

Rose - so sorry about your job. Hoping you find something better soon.

It is sunny here but cold. Should warm up to the 50's later.

2nd cup of coffee almost finished. I need to shower, get ready for work, drive a mile to my office, start my day.

You all have a good day.

(Ugggg . . . .just had to put the bathroom trash can under the sink where that darn cat won't get to it . . . that cat loves used Q-tips!!)

Steph, my hounds like to nab q-tips and chew off the tips.
I had a cat that LOVED getting her ears cleaned with q-tips. Show her one and she'd be in my lap; when I put the q-tip in her ear she'd LEAN into it and drool!

One of our canine-family member, of long ago, was fond of feminine hygiene products. . . (We miss our Zuul, but that was one nasty habit of hers.)

I am curious if anyone has a fitbit? I got one and there is no instruction booklet. (I am getting older and I like paper!).

Anyway, now I have to download an app. Therefore, it has sat in the box for 2 weeks. I am just hoping someone has had a good experience with one. I am tired of manufacturers being too cheap to provide a manual. It really makes me furious.

Anyway, not much else going on. I do have to run downtown to get a birthday gift. Still blue and cool here in the Bay Area.
