Kindergarten - hiding behind the piano in class, I kissed one of the boys in my class.

First real kiss was a shock - I've told this before so forgive me for saying it again but Farawyn asked!

I was 17 and went on a date with a 19 year old guy who was in the service (can't remember which branch). We went to see the movie/musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Standing on my porch at the front door, he leaned over to kiss me and . . .

I jumped back and ran into the house. My mom and younger sister were sitting at the kitchen table and asked me what was wrong. So I told them and my sister laughed and said something to the effect of that's how people kiss.

Little sis was always ahead of the curve . . .
    Sounds good to me.

I love Jesus Christ Superstar, btw.

First real kiss I was fourteen or fifteen. First "real" boyfriend which at that age meant hanging about the playground holding hands and talking. He also put his tongue in my mouth and I was a bit of a germaphobe and didn't like the idea of swapping spit. He was totally cool with this, however. We stopped dating after a couple of weeks but remained good friends right up until the age of 18 when we went our separate ways to college. He used to go clothes shopping with me and all my friends and come out with us swimming and such.

He starred on the very first Big Brother in the UK and is now happily married to another guy. He is still drop dead gorgeous.

15 years old behind the bleachers after a track meet. All I remember is the scent of drakkar and the taste of hubba bubba. Lawdy he had legs like a stallion and a butt you could bounce a quarter off of. Then again so did I. Great now I'm sad.

    My mama taught me well.

    Never, kiss and tell.

Don't know if I count, but in the front seat of my car senior year of high school. I remember how ridiculously nervous I was, because even me as dumb as I was knew it was coming.

I was driving her home so the anticipation, was almost as interesting as the kiss.

    My first kiss. . .

In a corn field! (We were playing hide & seek with family and friends.) We were both quite young at the time, in our early 'teens. She initiated the kiss. No surprises, I loved every second of that kiss. I remember that experience as if it took place yesterday, corn stalks and all! LOL!

Lasting about a year afterward, we dated. . .

    Ahhhh. . . Memories. . .

    No names, but....

....first kiss on a dare? 12, in the hallway surrounded by a bunch of screaming middle-schoolers.

....first kiss for love? (or at least what I thought was love at the time!) 13, in the band room. We were both band geeks. We met there every day after school to play tonsil hockey. He wasn't Mr. Right but we found each other on facebook a few years ago and we both fessed up to still having a soft spot in our hearts for each other.

....first kiss for the guy I truly thought I was going to marry? 17, he was 18. We'd been dating for a year and a half at that point and he had never kissed me, which was fine. I respected him for it. We dated six months before he even held my hand! Anyway, he walked me upstairs to our apartment after our Valentines day date and we hugged goodbye. He must've been planning it because he was shaking like a leaf on a tree when he hugged me and all of a sudden he dipped his face into mine, and it was so good I went inside and wrote him a poem about it. I think I was his first kiss ever. For a newbie he was pretty good. And he smelled SO nice. We were together for 2.5 very good years.
