None of that right wing bullcrap is relevant to the science anyway. It is simply a way for the deniers to change the subject.

Did I say anything about (myself) denying the science??

See what I mean? People will believe what they want, or what confirms their belief, without question, without seeking any verification.

Vaccines cause autism, well sure, a tiny study of 8 patients funded by a rival vaccine maker seems plausible. Obama was born in Kenya? Well, he does have a funny name and dark skin, I'll buy that. Global warming is a conspiracy from China, is a major buyer of US coal? People from my party say so, it must be true.

Exactly why did you quote that comment of mine and then ask me that question?

So 20000sqft might be an exaggeration (although it's probably pretty close between all his houses) ...

And how many houses does Al Gore own? Some evidence, please? You must know; I'm sure you wouldn't just be making up stuff as you go along ...

FACT CHECK: Al Gore's Home Energy Use

I think the original question was how many houses does Al Gore own?

The IBD article only names one home, and per Snopes, it also serves as his office. And IBD compares the one month of highest energy use by Gore to the yearly average of others. Nothing like cherry-picking your data.

2 other houses in San Fran and TN....but the point was that the message will not be received well by a hypocrite (ie one who is not practicing what he preaches)

Folks, this thread is a troll-farm transplant. Why else use a tabloid-level "article" full of overblown hyperbole and not much else? Not to mention that the OP has disappeared.

Who cares how big Al Gore's house is? Do y'all really think that the validity of the science supporting climate change has anything to do with whether he travels in a private plane?

Daisy, your citations would have more credibility on these forums, if they weren't all based on the same source, in this case a report by Drew Johnson of the National Center for Public Policy Research.

Are you saying that Gore is a hypocrite even though he has taken steps to decrease his energy use? And if his home also serves as his place of work this would seem to offset claims of exorbitant energy use.

None of this proves that climate change isn't real.

"San Fran" is a condo in a high rise, and the Carthage home is his family farm (do you begrudge him his family homeplace?)

And, once again, the right-wing website info is wrong, as nursej22 notes.

Are you saying he has a condo in SanFran also? I was talking about the mansion in Monticieto, also the home in TN is a 20 room mansion....you don't think that this is a waste of resources....either way it is a little hypocritical for him to tell others to conserve/watch their C02. And just because an article is on (what you claim) is a right wing website doesn't mean it is not true.
