I'm nowhere an obese nurse (my size is usually 5 although yesterday I bought jeans that were a size of 3) but my boyfriend is almost 300 pounds yep! ( when I met him he was 285, lately I took his weight he is like 295 now) and he got a lot of stamina can walk many miles so I do believe that a fat nurse can be a successful nurse.

Well the thing is...obesity is a national disease. With a nurse knowibg what it takes for proper nutrition there really is no excuse for being overweight. But as far as nursing in general I think she could still care for patients just as well. Nobody should judge ppl

Well my best friend was always skinny but after she hit 25 she started to gain weight ( has her father genes) and now she is like 5'8 and weights almost 200 pounds (she is 32). She eats very little, was on many diets, exercises but her metabolism is so slow that she can loose weight the longest.
