You are reading page 3 of anyone watch ER tonight?. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Even though Abby would probably make a good physician, I hope she rethinks that profession, and becomes a nurse practitioner. They have a lot of respect and favor from a lot of people these days. The doctors are too out of touch in most cases anymore.

As far as Dr Romano goes, I don't care one way or the other about his being on the show.

But he would often pull some zingers though. His reaction threw me for a loop when Carrie told him she was gay, and I thought it was really really funny when that hand kept pinching the nurses' buts, and that new little nurse pulled it off of him. Also when Susan took it away from him after that and told him he would have to wait until the end of the shift before he got it back.

Unfortunately though, I did feel bad about how he left the show. Can you imagine having a flashback of your arm being cut off my the rotor blade of a helicopter, and then as you were leaving for the day, the thing all in flames fall on top of you? Horrors!

sorry i can't bring myself to watch or care. ER went wrong LONG ago in my book when Carol was considering med school. THAT WAS A LOOONG TIME AGO.

I watch CSI now, and that is all.

Every time I saw Romano I always remembered the character he played in "Fame"

Yes, he was an A** on ER - but they have to have someone fill that role huh? lol

Very good episode IMO

Why do they make such a BIG DEAL about intubating on ER?

For instance, Abby looking at the other two, like I'm in for it now as she intubated the patient.

As Ramano put it: "congratulations, you just killed your patient" when she was intubating the practice dummy early in the hour.

Part of the "look" could have been because by the time it was over with Lewis's ex was intubated, with a central line in and was getting blood and there was no attending supervising.

I always hated Ramano too, but he was so human when Lucy died...

I thought they should have put Elizabeth and Ramano together too.

that was the best episode ever!! i think the storylines are so much more interesting than they used to be. i never really liked george clooney's role...too deep. i want to be entertained and they sure are delivering lately! i was sorry to see romano go, he added a certain sass to the show, but i know it will go on just fine. i wish it were carrie...she is super annoying and getting worse by the episode. read below for next week's episode summary where it gives proof that romano is dead.

identity crisis

9:59pm 2003-12-04 all new!

neela treats fun-seeking amish teenagers while doctor is mourned -- two distinct cultures collide when neela (parminder nagra) treats two amish teenagers involved in a car accident who are exploring the outside world to determine if they want to return to the reclusive society while dr. corday (alex kingston) and a few others mourn the loss of a talented colleague. elsewhere, sam (linda cardellini) clashes with sympathetic dr. kovac (goran visnjic) when he pays too much attention to her trouble-prone teenaged son alex (guest star oliver davis) while dr. lewis (sherry stringfield) is pained when an unconscious 5-year-old girl cannot be traced to any parent or guardian. in addition, dr. pratt (mekhi phifer) scopes out the beautiful valerie (guest star joy bryant) who is visiting her nervous brother dr. gallant (sharif atkins). laura innes and maura tierney also star. tv-14

Angelbear- Many of us consider nursing to be a totally different career path from being a doctor. Thus, advancing our education would lead to an advanced practice branch of nursing-NOT to getting an MD.

Anyone ever see the X-Files ep where "Romano" (don't know the name of the actor who plays him) was an EMT who could regenerate any bodily part by eating fresh malignant tumors and immersing himself in betedine? I kid you not!

Thanks Canoehead.

We never know what we're going to run into in the days of our lives as healthcare workers. That was the absolutely most gross and disgusting experience concerning my life as a healthcare worker. I can still remember the awful smell it left in our ambulance. It made me feel like puking.:p I refused to clean it up afterwards though. Thankfully someone else cleaned it. UGH!
