There is one person in particular that posts SO much minutia that I'm either going to "unsubscribe" (still remains a friend but don't get the ongoing commentary about EVERYTHING), or unfriend. I have people in "groups" based on where I know them from. I looked at the group she's in and 95% is HER. I want to know about what people are doing - but not asking about what financial management programs are good for the computer, 10 photos of adoptable dogs at the pound, how she should be doing homework, etc..... (seriously- I had to "hide" a LOT to have room for other people).

Makes me think of those old ladies who huddle together at family gatherings and pronounce in loud voices precisely what bowel problems they are having, what ops they have had (in full detail, according to their level of understanding) and the fact that they won't be staying long because they are "bilious".

Here's something I hope we can all agree on. People who are so addicted to texting that they can't even stop while they're driving endanger all of us. Anyone who knowingly travels with a driver who is texting behind the wheel doesn't have to worry about brain damage from an accident, because apparently it has already occurred.

I don't care how good a driver or how nimble a texter you are, when you combine the two your reflexes and your reaction time become worse than if you were falling-down drunk--and should be punished accordingly. I don't care how "mean" that sounds. I'm trying to save some lives here.

Put down your phone while you're driving! Please!

I completely, 100% agree with this, Miranda!

If you're going to text while driving, then you should run your own stupid butt into a wall ...... and NOT into me or one of my loved ones. That sounds harsh, too, but so is killing an innocent person.

I'm feeling very fortunate to have pathologically secretive family members after reading that !!! If they SWEAT, they feel the need to go somewhere privately and take care of it as to not let others see a bodily function !! :D

LockportRN- FB has been GREAT for reconnecting with people I thought I'd lost track of permanently, and "finding" relatives s/p reunification with birth-mom.... some of her in-laws have adopted me back as a full cousin/neice/whatever. :) Getting to know them, and finding out what old friends are doing has been wonderful... but you get the toads with the lovely pond !! (many of those are from games on FB- that are a LOT of fun when there's not a lot to do d/t limitations- and it's neat to meet people from around the world ....but a few are a bit odd!!).

Shoots, I wish I wish I was a glistener and resemble nothing even close to glistening after a workout. I look like a flushed, hot mess (that sounds so gross).

I look like a flushed hot mess doing nothing. If I start to sweat, I better have somewhere to get horizontal. The pursuit of fitness is admirable, Poi.... :)

Not only updates on every detail of life, but how about a new picture of your kid EVERYDAY. OK, they are cute, but I don't need a day by day update. Please.
