That may work with the Trumpster crowd, but the liberals on this thread will demand a better thought process.

You are a liberal? Wow, I'd have never guessed.

I tend to see things with a grain of salt attitude..when people from my country goes around with spreading rhetoric at how they care about our environment,

while giving a pass to nations such as China.

I wonder what Moscow is like in summer.

Has anyone traveled to Moscow in summer?

I'm a first generation immigrant. 🙂

And I'm a "conservative."

Why?

It's due and for those "conservative values" that I gave up my previous nationality, while pledging allegiance to this nation.

So, we have very different opinions and views on what "immigrants" are obviously.

And guess who the first generation immigrant is? 🙂

The term "immigrant" isn't subject to opinion or interpretation as it already has a clear and specific definition. In what way do you believe that you have a different view of the term?

Quote

immigrant

 noun
im·mi·grant | \ ˈi-mə-grənt  \

Definition of immigrant

: one that immigrates: such as
a : a person who comes to a country to take up permanent residence
b : a plant or animal that becomes established in an area where it was previously unknown

Who is giving China "a pass"?

Do you see taxation of the wealthy with a grain of salt?

One value Americans have is that of free enterprise.  If that somehow involves countries like China and Saudi Arabia, countries with known human rights abuses, but we make billions off of them by being "free" it does seem to go into a grey area.

When I think of American Values I also think Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. I think our Country has made many horrible mistakes but I also think we have done much good. I think we should do our best to give all people that said opportunity as much as possible. I don't have a problem with the freebies per se, it is the abuse that IMO is the problem (which could easily be fixed if gov would do their job). I am hopeful that our Country will again become united (agree to disagree) so we can continue on providing people with the opportunity for their American Dream (what ever that may mean to them personally).

Fierce individual freedom is, to me, the true hallmark of American values.

We are all free in America. Our freedoms are not granted, but protected. This land of opportunity is the best country to live and grow. We have the most opportunity, the most diversity, and the widest reach in the world for the modern era.

Are we perfect? Of course not. But we have and drive, the initiative, and the spirit to make America the shining example of personal freedoms anywhere.

Clearly women in some conservative states no longer enjoy fierce personal freedom. They are losing their right to make their own decisions about matters which directly affect their health, finances, employment, and daily life.
