Growth of government also produces jobs, but does so by increasing government spending, leading to oppressive tax hikes, increased national debt and deficit, and inflation. All recovery killers.tntrn likes this. -

There has to be austerity for the long term, no doubt about it but it has to be done with some common sense. Here in America private sector growth is occurring slowly and if we use austerity with some common sense the private sector can keep pace.
