I have committed to doing 30 minutes of some kind of exercise 6 days per week. I have pretty much got the diet part down, I am just horrible about exercise. I don't like it. I wish I was one of those people who loves to work out and gets all sorts of energy, but that is just not me (at least not yet, I can still hope that it comes with time!)
So, at 9pm last night I dragged myself off the couch with hubby in tow and walked for 30 minutes! It would have been so easy just to let it go...it's too dark, it's too late...but we did it! The thing that is keeping me going is that I realized I don't HAVE to like it, I just have to do it. So, I can whine, moan and b!%#@ all I want as long as it gets done
Today I have horse stalls to clean, so that may be my exercise for the day (usually takes over an hour), plus I need to work with the baby horses which is a lot of walking. I think I can get by without an extra walk and still get in a good workout. I may try and get in a short walk anyway, though.
