We've camped in tents near lakes and in the mountains. And at resort campgrounds with scheduled activities.

Im curious how it ended as well. Ive been camping since I was born and love it tremendously. It is one of the reasons i moved back home closer to the mountains. Granted mountain/backpacking camping can be vastly different than beach camping, it is still a lot of fun. I pity those that say to stay in a hotel. Nature is beautiful and can be amazing when you disconnect from society for a few days.
