Trump's Impeachment? Terrible Alternatives!

  1. Anyone consider what might happen if we get what we wish for? I think Pence is far more dangerous than Trump, because of his religious inclinations. I truly believe he's a hypocrite because true religion cannot mix with politics and he will have to choose. I fear for alternative lifestyle people and the numerous religious vagaries he could be influenced by. Also the people of dubious character who heads most of the evangelical controlling him by presenting conundrum conflicts. He will very likely choose the religious inclinations.

Then there is Paul Ryan who because of his narcissism and very suspect character will easily be influenced by big business and I doubt he is clever enough to even anticipate he's been used. His hypocrisy is only exceeded by Ted Cruz's.

I think it is better the devil you know than the one you don't.

Were you watching the Daily Show with Trevor Noah?

    He covered exactly this.

I think we take this one step at a time.
Pence has some questions to answer as well.

Actually, "Big Yin" They won't know what we are talking about. I've been so busy these last few days, I haven't had time to watch anything. Thought maybe a thread about alternatives might relax us a bit and get us of the bandwagon of the orange one. These chaps are a wee bit scary, don't you think? I'll have to take a look at Trevor Noah. At least United won the Europa cup for Manchester. Fergie should be pleased.

It's looking likely however so I thought we should put our two cents in.

I think that "likely" is quite a stretch at this point.

    Indeed
Republican legislators seem uninterested in the evidence which suggests that there was inappropriate contact between Russia and the Trump campaign. This is so obviously partisan that it is alarming given that Republicans saw scandal behind every curtain and spared no expense to investigate, re investigate, and investigate the investigation around Benghazi yet cannot seem to believe the findings of their own efforts.

Patriots want a thorough investigation, and want our elected officials to be held accountable for not following our laws.

Faketriots are more concerned with politics and power.

I was trying to be polite. You're right. It really is so easy to manipulate Trump. The Saudis laid it on thick and he crumbled so easily. The anti Isis president so easily forgot that it is the Saudis that has been sponsoring most of the terror groups around the world and that most terrorists exposed have been Saudis. I wonder how much commission he took for the sale and when will it be exposed? When Bannon was sent home, I thought immediately that something is up especially with Jared still there.

When all is dusted off, we are going to find that the white house was used primarily as enticement for business enterprises and worse, that a president was elected who dishonoured every aspect of our society and that the GOP will back him to the hilt until they themselves look like they will be implicated. Sessions will protect him until removed from office.

If Trump is impeached, it is likely that Pence will fall too. After all, he HAD to know about Flynn because Flynn told the team, and Pence was the head of the transition team. So, he might be gone too. That leaves us with Paul Ryan (a very bad man, indeed). But keep in mind that it will take lots of TIME to get rid of Agent Orange, and then Pence.

By then, it is 2018 or beyond. And hopefully, Democrats will have won enough seats in the House and Senate to thwart the agenda of any Republican who may follow Agent Orange.
