The President Donald Trump Thread - page 45

I thought I would create a thread where we can talk about what he's currently up to. No particular topic but one that's ongoing with what he's doing and saying. I'll start with this speech on... Read More

Pickles, I actually think Trump was wire tapped, but not by Obama but by Preet Bohara. I also think that Bohara probably has the goods on him and by the dismissal, whomever is now appointed will go after Bohara with the discrediting tactic. Thing is, that if Bohara went after hedge fund guys who are serious criminals and much better at covering their tracks, he may be a match for Trump's ploys, especially if Schumer is involved.

What I want to know is how Agent Orange is going to be held accountable for his lies against Obama. Now that the director of the FBI has said there is no evidence to support Agent Orange's claim that Obama had him wiretapped, how does Congress intend to make him accountable?

If I can't scream "fire" in a crowded movie theatre when there is no fire, how does this idiot get away with accusing a former President of a false crime?

I hope our allies and enemies got the message loud and clear: You can't believe or trust any of the lies that come out of DJT's mouth. He is nothing more than a man-child liar.

He needs to be kicked out of the Oval Office.

He will very likely be impeached but Sessions is a big problem. However McConnell and Macain are lethal enemies for him. All those years in DC, all those alliances forged and Trump bringing attention to their shenanigans. Something is going to give but if Gorsush gets in, that could be a problem. Papa Bush doesn't like him and he's former CIA who knows where lots of skeletons are buried. It's very interesting times if you like politics. European politics is even more interesting right now. So many wonderful characters. Farrage, Merkel, Putin, May, especially Hollande'. Interesting times indeed!

I remember reading several weeks ago in the NYTimes that Michael Flynn, the disgraced two-star General who previously served Agent Orange as a security advisor, received multiple payments from the Russians for various tasks. But after listening most of the day to today's hearings, well, all kinds of folks connected to Trump have received money from the Russians. It remains to be seen just what exactly the Russians got for their money, but how disgraceful to sell-out your country to the Russians for some coins.

Keeping my fingers-crossed that we see the removal of Agent Orange from office, and better yet, see him and a few of his cronies truly pay for their crimes.

Tough times for the Republicans. They've got a healthcare proposal that could cost them seats in 2018 and a budget proposal that definitely will cost them seats and a lying, disgraceful fool as the head of their party.

I hope they enjoy all the riches that the 2016 election brought them. They deserve it!

I am having a little trouble tracking what your are saying. Are you saying Sessions is a big problem if DJT is impeached? In what way? The department of justice would not be involved in impeachment.

McConnell and Macain (sic) are lethal enemies for him? And, yet they allowed him to be elected, and have approved all his cabinet appointees.

If Gorsush (sic) gets in, that could be a problem? Again, are you saying this would be a problem for Trump, McConnell, or McCain? A Supreme court judge has no individual power over any elected official. Yes, he will most likely rule with the more conservative judges, if that is what you mean.

Yes Bush senior is a former head of the CIA, but I don't think his health is well enough to exhume any skeletons.

And per your previous post, I do not believe that Bharara wire-tapped Trump or Trump Tower. If it was done at all, it was most likely done by an intelligence agency, and they would have had to show probable cause to obtain a warrant.

MarkPerry, you are remarkably interested in wife beating videos. Never saw one until I looked at your posts. Any defense mechanisms occurring there?

I just got off the phone with the office of my Congressman, Andy Barr. Barr attended Trump's pep rally in Louisville last night, as did Mitch McConnell.

McConnell was apparently met with a mix of cheers and boos. According to press accounts, he made a short statement about the American Healthcare Act and then quickly left the stage. This is interesting because Louisville is McConnell's hometown.

Anyway, I informed Mr. Barr's staffer that I am one voter who I will remind the Congressman of his vote on the ACA, and ensure that he owns that vote. I also asked what the Congressman intends to do regarding that Agent Orange is punished for lying about Obama and wiretaps, thus, damaging the trust citizens place in their government. I believe it is a punishable act.

Of course, I asked for Agent Orange's tax returns to be released. The staffer tried to tell me that what was released on Rachel Maddow's show counted for a tax return release. No! I pointed out it was only two-pages from 2005. Not good enough.

I disagree LilNel, may have been 4 pages. Two eyes x's two pages unless he was wearing spectacles, then it would have been eight pages however if it was bifocals. I can't count that far, I'll just use alternative facts. Let's say 56 pages and call it a day?

Sorry, Avid Reader, but I am confused. Are you referring to the tax return? I'm just not following you.

Or maybe I can't recognize humor because I just got home from work where I had been listening to a 95-year-old cry out to God for two hours because she felt she was being punished.

It seems that I gave her her medications last tonight and she thought it was a conspiracy against her. No, somebody is first, somebody is last and somebody is in the middle. It is called life.
