The President Donald Trump Thread - page 4

I thought I would create a thread where we can talk about what he's currently up to. No particular topic but one that's ongoing with what he's doing and saying. I'll start with this speech on... Read More

This is how the liberal media works in the USA. You have an ISIS sympathizer who parents are from Afghanistan goes in a gay night club and kills 49 people and there is barely much press, I think it was the nation's worst terror attack since 9/11. And it get little press. Now if it was a white person that did it then the news and media would be still be on fire.

You had some mentally ill idiot wearing a confederate shirt shoot some black people and the world is banning the Confederate flag. If you heard this Idiot speak there was no question he was insane, and the courts let him represent himself and he was found guilty. He was mentally ill and crazy, and in my books you don't need to be a part of society anymore.
So nothing about the shootings in Canada? He was one of your guys, so I guess you choose to ignore it. Shameful.

In my opinion we have a mentally ill idiot in the White House. There's no question he's insane and in my books, doesn't need to be a part of our government.

The Orlando nightclub shooting got "little press"? Maybe you need to broaden your sources.

Not much press, It was the largest terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11.

The reason is the media and Obama wanted it to go away since it was a ISIS inspired home grown immigrant from a Muslim country.

Now if I had been a US citizen who was a Caucasian, then Obama would of went of TV and started crying and invited the families to the Whitehouse

He could of joined clockboy and BLM member at the whitehouse. Then he could of sent whitehouse representation to their funeral just like they did to the criminal thug Michael Brown

Now when American hero Chris Kyle was killed, no calls from the Whitehouse to his family and nobody from the Whitehouse showed up to represent the Whitehouse for probably one of the biggest war heros in our lifetime.

Maybe the Orlando shootings didn't get much press because it was considered just a crazy man killing gay hispanic people and wasn't considered a terrorist attack. If he went into a club and killed a bunch of white straight people it would still be headline news today and considered terrorism.

That said, the news cycle moves pretty fast and it's what's news one day is not news the next. Mass shootings are so common.

Chris Kyle was not killed in the line of duty.

The Pulse nightclub shooting got tons of press. I don't know how anybody could say it didn't. In fact, it is still getting press because the federal government is going after the shooter's wife because they say she of the plan to attack the nightclub. That was in the news this week.

The coverage was so widespread, that solidarity rallies were held were I live in Kentucky.

Chris Kyle was far from an American hero. He was a proven liar, and killed while he took a disturbed veteran to a SHOOTING RANGE. Who does that? Yeah, good plan to take a mentally unstable person to a shooting range with access to guns. Very poor judgement on Mr. Kyle's part, and he paid the ultimate price for that poor decision.

Yea, you are right. Walking into a club and killing 49 people is not a terrorist attack, what is it called 'Target Practice"? Is this how liberal think now of days?

If this isn't a terrorist attack then I don't know what is

In a 9-1-1 call shortly after the shooting began, Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and said the shooting was "triggered" by the U.S. killing of Abu Waheeb in Iraq the previous month. He later told a negotiator he was "out here right now" because of the American-led interventions in Iraq and in Syria, and that the negotiator should tell the United States to stop bombing.

Correct, but he still was an American War Hero with the most sniper kills in US History.

Michael Brown was criminal and a thug and Obama sent representation to his Funeral, only line of duty Brown was in was being a criminal.

Doubtful because the dislike and downright hatred of Trump is too strong. I know liberals play a part in things in the discord, but really Republicans could have done a better job while Obama was President, rather than the whole birther thing, the Tea Party rise, on and on and on. The discord is here to stay to I'm afraid and liberals are the ones that are angry and acting up...and so it goes.

I also want to echo that I liked your approach rather than stereotyping and degrading liberals which happens here more often than not. (i.e. being called "Libtard" in a post above). It starts with us, and you're doing fine, perhaps others can follow your example. LOL
I appreciate yours and everyone's positive responses to my post. Really. I do my best to be open-minded and honestly I want my brain picked on why on stand on what I stand on. Makes me think. Too, I also get my share of being name-called. People with different views can get along and that's actually really encouraging to me.

I think Trump's daughter and son-in-law are representative of conservative millennials who often say "I'm a fiscal conservative, but a social liberal". I think it's wise not to alienate them. Soon millennials will be the largest voting block.

Of course there's a base that states they aren't concerned because they feel entitled to end protections of against LBGT workers because they were "supportive" of Trump (usually that means dollar signs).

What I am reading and hearing about the SEAL raid on Yemen that resulted in a US soldier's death, as well as a child and several others is disturbing. Was the decision really made over dinner, with Bannon and Kushner present? Was there a lack of intelligence around the entry point, that turned out to be heavily armed? Why didn't they wait until a moonless night, which was the suggestion during planning?

SEAL Team 6 raid in Yemen raises questions - CNN.com

And the military tried to pass off a 10 year old video as proof of the value of the raid.

The White House tried to blame Obama, no surprise.

Is that the Same when Sec. Of State Clinton and Obama tried to blame Benghazi on a youtube video?

Changing the topic to things in the past about other people is a tactic that is ineffective when discussing the Trump situation on Yemen. In my opinion of course.

    Just sayin'
