The New Healthcare Bill

  1. I believe that if we start praying for our new administration that is struggling to repeal and replace Obamacare, asking God to inspire those working on the new healthcare bill to discuss, amend, and all parties come together to vigorously work in a bipartisan form, to come up with a form of healthcare that will be beneficial for ALL the people of this nation. I know that is almighty, and that He has and does perform miracles every day, and if enough people will pray for the inspiration our legislators to decide to work together to pass the type of healthcare bill that will work for everyone, the populace of our nation will rejoice, and President Trump and his team will be so happy. So why not give prayer for the inspiration our leaders need.

I have been praying and working for all Americans to have safe, effective, therapeutic healthcare delivered with compassion for decades.
I do pray and hope our current elected leaders to pass a law that is an improvement on what we have now.

Unfortunately their bills so far this year have language to cut Medicaid and subsidies. Tens of thousand of Americans would lose their health insurance if those bills are passed.
I fear it would take a miracle for them to receive the inspiration to do what President Trump promised. We can pray for such a miracle.

Well, the GOP certainly needs divine intervention at this point ...

herring, I believe you have been praying, and yes, more and more people defininitely need to . I believe that division begins with the leaderrs of our nations, and then the nations of their populace begin to divide. What a sad state of affairs.

Elkpark, it's true, and that's why I created this thread. We do need miracles .

I think our leaders are beyond prayer at this point. My prayer is that the American people smarten up and see them for who they really are, and don't repeat the same mistakes in 2020.

It seems that God has answered our prayers and has handed political defeat to Senate Republicans on the health care idiocy.

Yeah, even God couldn't save that trainwreck.

I pray, but also think it is important to do what we can. I heard a religious leader explain the saying, "God Helps those who help themselves." saying that if after asking for help just sat and watched the friend do the task that would not be help.
