Quote from Markperry
The Clintons loves political criminals
Chelsea Clinton's Father in Law was a career politician, Her father in law, Edward Mezvinsky served as a Democratic congressman from Iowa and in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Edward Mezvinsky was found guilty of fraud in 2001 and served time in prison.
Man you can't make this stuff up
And the father of Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and served time in Federal prison. What's your point, exactly?
, the ex-con, disbarred attorney, made a $100k contribution to The Donald's campaign (at least, that's the money we know
The witness tampering charges were related to his having paid a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, recording the sexual activity between the prostitute and BIL, and then threatening the BIL that he would turn over the tape to his sister if BIL testified against him in court (hmmm, extortion and blackmail involving illicitly recorded sexual activities with prostitutes -- sounds familiar ...)
You're right, you can't
make this stuff up.
Trump has a long history of business ties to criminals and mobsters. If I were a Trumpster, I would not be going out of my way to start conversations about politicians' criminal connections.
And, while it has obviously been damaged by the smear campaign carried out by Repugs during the campaign season, the Clinton Foundation has always been highly rated as a legitimate charitable foundation by the independent organizations that review and rank charities. It has operated legally and filed all the required financial documentation. It has been widely viewed as having done a great deal of good for a lot of people around the world. This is in stark contrast to the Trump "foundation," which has been observed to be blatantly double-dealing, in violation of the regulations under which charitable foundations operate, and has been discovered to have been operating in New York without having filed the necessary paperwork or obtained the necessary permits, and is now under state investigation. I would go so far as to assume that the only individuals the Trump foundation has ever actually benefitted are the members of the Trump family.
But keep telling yourself whatever you have to to get through the day ...
