… All together, roughly one-third of House committees are engaged in investigating some aspect of the Obama administration. “The speaker and other House leaders have been clear: Effective, responsible oversight is a key... Read More

Watergate and Benghazi? Where's is the apples and oranges photo when you need it? Really, you think 4 people dying after they asked for help and it was denied is silly. Wow.
They asked for help from congress for more security and were denied it. At the time of the attack they asked for help and none was sent as there was no help that could have been there in time to be of any help, although I agree, they should have sent help at least for show.

I agree, attacks on diplomatic interests should be taken seriously, Benghazi should be taken just as seriously as any of the 64 attacks on diplomatic interests that occurred under Bush (for which there were 3 investigations, there have already been more than 3 investigations of Benghazi alone).

Any guilty of wrongdoing in any of the scandals should be punished and removed from their job if necessary, the question is who's guilty and of what. I think in general there should be more oversight of in these situations, so long as it's oversight and not political posturing.

Maybe the jets couldn't have gotten there in time. But we will never know, because there was no attempt to help....none. That is shameful and far worse than anything about Watergate.

Jets could have gotten "there", although air strikes on the embassy would have been just as deadly for embassy staff as it would have been for the attackers.

Not necessarily. Ever watched those videos with the laser guided bombs that correctly target the door of a bunker?

This...so out of balance, so obviously a hounding of this black president, but the people engaged in the ridiculously over the top pursuit are blind to it...and their followers equally as blind, hanging on the glimmer of hope that there was some horrible secret and conspiracy to cover up. Where was this same conservative interest in the well being of our diplomats during the Bush administration...you remember, the administration that blatantly lied to the world about WMD.?.

Can we focus on the now and not dig up the past? It reminds me of childhood . . . you get caught doing something wrong and the first thing you say is "But Tommy did it!".

Even in marriage counseling, you are warned to stop bringing up past experiences in regards to present problems.

These issues should be judged by their own merit .. .or lack thereof.

I think they are all very serious and need more investigation. And that has nothing to do with the Prez being black. I'm so very weary of that argument.

Some might also argue it is the protection of this black president.....because he's black, not because he's not wrong.

And to think that a white President was impeached for lying about sex........

exactly...the things that conservative legislators find important...liberals did NOT impeach the president and his cronies for lying to get us into 2 expensive wars...although they should be tried and convicted for their crimes.
