Grrrrrr, now Franken, too.... Read More

It is simply ridiculous that anybody would try and compare Roy Moore to Al Franken or John Conyers. It's a nice attempt to deflect from the fact that Moore is accused of targeting MINORS, which makes him a pedophile. That is not the case with Franken or Conyers.

And let us not forget that Roy Moore has been REMOVED from office (for other offenses) twice.

But let's face it, the right has very little worth clinging to these days, so I suppose they try and cling to anything, even pedophiles, when most reasonable people would cut them loose.

It seems to me that the right is willing to give Roy Moore a huge pass. He is accused of being a pedophile, removed from office twice, and is clearly unfit to sit in the US Senate, but hey, he's our guy!

I support both sides going after Congress for allowing United States taxpayers to pay off sexual harassment suits, and I think both sides have probably benefitted from the policy.

But comparing Moore to Franken and Conyers is nonsensical.

I also disagree with Farawyn's comment regarding the left being reluctant to discuss the sexual allegations against Franken and Conyers.

I have heard several discussions on NPR regarding Bill Clinton, and how his accusers were treated by the left and the media. The discussions also took on the issue of whether or not he should continue to play a large role in Democratic politics.

Joe Biden is promoting his new book. NPR interviewer asked him his treatment of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas debacle.

And in my opinion, NO ONE has been given a greater pass than Clarence Thomas.

If the right thinks that Franken or Conyers need to step down, then they also need support removing Thomas from the US Supreme Court.

Then they can move on to removing THEIR president from the WH.

Either put up, or shut up!

    Fired.

This is from today's Washington Post. This is who you are defending, Trumpsters. Do you want to leave your 14-year-old granddaughter alone, in the a room with this guy? If not, then why support the idiot who supports the pedophile?

Leigh Corfman, who says Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore touched her sexually when she was 14 and he was 32, has written him an emotional letter insisting he stop calling her a liar.
Corfman wrote and hand-delivered the letter to AL.com Tuesday after hearing that Moore, now the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, had called her and several other women's accusations "completely false" and "malicious" at a campaign rally in Henagar, Ala., on Monday night. It was his first public appearance in almost two weeks.
"When you personally denounced me last night and called me slanderous names, I decided that I am done being silent," Corfman wrote. "What you did to me when I was 14-years old should be revolting to every person of good morals. But now you are attacking my honesty and integrity. Where does your immorality end?"

Anyone else notice that the best the right can do when Moore is discussed is compare apples to oranges? Otherwise, they are silent as church mice. SAD!

    You know he's gonna win.

Yes, he probably will win, Farawyn. But if he does, what does that tell us about the morals of Republicans in AL? Nothing that I don't know already!

And he will have his a$$ handed to him in the Senate. That will be a beautiful sight to behold. It should ensure even LESS success for the Bum!

Good 'ol Mitch won't welcome Moore with open arms.

Add Matt Lauer to the list of the accused. Reportedly, he harrassed a staffer at the Rio Olympics.

This is from today's NY Times. Remember when Trump bragged that he has the BEST memory? The greatest memory! Now, he can't remember the sound of his own voice.

Kim is absolutely right: the Bum is a demented old man. A dotard.

Shortly after his victory last year, Donald J. Trump began revisiting one of his deepest public humiliations: the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape of him making vulgar comments about women.
Despite his public acknowledgment of the recording's authenticity in the final days of the presidential campaign - and his hasty videotaped apology under pressure from his advisers - Mr. Trump as president-elect began raising the prospect with allies that it may not have been him on the tape after all.
Most of Mr. Trump's aides ignored his changing story. But in January, shortly before his inauguration, Mr. Trump told a Republican senator that he wanted to investigate the recording that had him boasting about grabbing women's genitals.
"We don't think that was my voice," Mr. Trump told the senator, according to a person familiar with the conversation. Since then, Mr. Trump has continued to suggest that the tape that nearly upended his campaign was not actually him, according to three people close to the president.

Well, a lot of them are making the "God works through flawed people, none of us are perfect, 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone,' God forgives people, who am I to judge, yada yada yada" religious argument. All the while, you know they'd be hollering for his head if he were a Democrat. The sanctimonious hypocrisy is breathtaking.

And, of course, he's going to win. 'Cause it's Alabama, and that's how they are.
