It suddenly struck me that (mostly) conservative Christians are anti abortion. Killing an unborn child is murder. I am pro life, but at least their argument makes a little sense.

Yet these (mostly) conservative Christians are pro gun ownership, support the NRA, second amendment, etc. So killing born children is somehow okay, acceptable, the price we have to pay to defend ourselves when the (fill in the blank_______________) boogy men or saboteurs or armies from a foreign country invade our home or country, our own government becoming ruled by a fascist tyrannical dictator, etc.

That's one of my biggest frustrations with Conservatives. The blob of cells is sacred, but once a child is born, they wash their hands of any compassion and responsibility. They're fine with all the guns floating around and the mass shootings, and worshipping officials who are pedophiles and criminals. It makes no sense to me and that's why I have so little respect for most of them.

And don't forget the death penalty -- so many "pro-life" people are vigorously pro-death penalty. So they're not "pro" all life, just the life they pick and choose.

Deficit Hawk Myth Dead as GOP Unite Over Morally and Economically 'Obscene' Tax Bill
... "Next year when Republicans propose deep cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid under the guise of deficit reduction, we will all remember that they increased the deficit by $1.5 trillion in order to give tax cuts to millionaires and big corporations."...

God doesn't exist. Sorry. It's called faith and faith is belief without evidence. You can't logically believe in something that you see. Like you either know the stick is on the floor or believe it is. No evidence of God.

I'm against abortion not because I'm sexist but because the baby is not you. I'm all for you choosing what to do with your body but I want the child to choose if it wants to live or not. If your parents aborted you how would you feel? Probably nothing. I'm also against death sentences. Hopefully when I'm president I'll ban all death sentences.

you are welcome to believe however you prefer about abortion. Please don't force your beliefs on others.

When your very famous self gets pregnant you can choose to not abort. Or when you're very famous self becomes president you can work to make death as a complication of abortion a growing American health statistic again.

A clump of cells has no ability to "choose if it wants to live or not."

And that 'clump of cells? It is a part of me, until it's not. thus is of MY BODY, and MY CHOICE what to do about it. Care to have it transplanted in YOUR body? Then it is part of YOUR body, and YOUR choice what to do with or about it, and no longer MY business.

We don't know anything about consciousness. How would you ever exist in another body. Possibly we can because we are energy and energy never gets destroyed. It moves from one object to the next demonstrated in Newton's Cradle. The memories can be deleted when we die but the energy source will be reused by maggots or plants and other cycles of life. Could be why we are connected to our children since it can be our energy source transferred to them so they are a part of us and our consciousness. Maybe scientists will create artificial womb and artificial testicles and have both women's and mens sexual parts removed to avoid this problem in general. No matter what, there will always be two sides. Unless we define how consciousness even exists. Could possibly be the universe experiencing itself through life which scientifically was developed. Although even as a scientist I don't see how the universe can come from nothing in the gray of no energy. The conservation of energy prevents it from being created or destroyed. If the big bang is true, energy should have existed before the big bang in some form or another. The space time continuum is our reality. The universe could have existed forever and never went anywhere since energy does not get created or destroyed. It also takes more energy to gather energy. Your technically not creating or destroying energy. Some designs that use friction gather energy that was already there. Until we discover another law of the universe that allows us to understand reality better. We won't know for sure weather abortion is right or wrong in the defense of energy already being there without the memory since the brain was not fully developed. We start to remember our existence after the brain developed. However we are always there and our energy does not stop to exist.

Also time travel is scientifically possible for a specific location. If you gather enough energy and observe every particle in the object you wanna reverse. If you can recall the cells previous state, you can technically re engineer or re develop the cell and its memories using the same energy and making it younger. The flow of time is just an illusion used to describe movement. The faster you move or think, The faster time flows since its only a documentation of the previous state or movement. It would kinda work like your body growing new layers of skin. If you cut yourself you will notice the skin will be fresh and pink a few weeks down the road. If we can take the human body and re construct the cells to a younger state. We would revert the humans age to a previous state. it would cost energy to do so but thats what our sciencey machines are for. This is why we do not recall time flow when unconscious. Since there is no memory to recall, from the time we go to sleep to the time we wake up, we will never fell time pass.
