    I have been hooking up laptop to my TV for 3 years now. It makes me laugh when people buy internet enabled TVs for double the price of a regular TV. When instead you could do it yourself in under 60 seconds and for less cash.

    The article says, when listing things we'd need:

    //" Converter to match laptop connection with the TV input if necessary."//


    I guess if i go into a computer store, the clerks there would know which converter THAT is?

    Go to best buy, ask them how to hook up your laptop to your tv and what things you need. You will be in and out in 5 minutes.
