#10 was definitely my family! My parents actually took us 3 kids to Florida one year in a Dodge colt!! I was 10, my sister was 6 and my brother was 18 months. This would have been about 1978. Talk about a trip!! I wouldn't even take my kids the five miles into town in a compact car, much less 600 miles one way. I still haven't figured out if my parents were just asking for punishment or if they were just plain crazy. I am going for the crazy theory.

Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
It should have been somebody else......

Flyin away on a wing and a prayer...who could it beeee...believe it or not...it's just meeeee!

GREAT! Now I'll be singing that in my head all day!

Those were great. I could relate to just about all of them. And yes...big crush on Johnny Gage from Emergency! "Get the jaws of life, John!" :chuckle

My first record album... Shawn Cassidy. My second...Andy Gibb. Third...Leif Garrett. :imbar

And yep...I owned a pair of white parachute pants like the guys from Duran Duran wore...along with a fedora hat & a ton of those little black rubber bracelets. Oh...and a colored shirt with a skinny gray leather tie (remember when ties on girls were the "thing" of the moment?)

    Gawd, this is awful! :imbar

You couldn't get me away from the TV on Sunday nights at 7:00. The Hardy Boys!! I prefered Parker Stevenson myself.

I actually went to the mall to see Leif Garret at an album signing but there were so many of us that they had to close down the mall due to fire regulations!!

I thought it was Rodney Allen Ripey who died from the pop rocks?

And if you know the words to the Brady Bunch song "Sunshine Day", I think I'll go for a walk outside now...

So what is our Generation called anyway? The TV Generation?

So much fun to remember. I remember reading the preppy handbook, but not owning one.

Oooooh, remember "Candies" those high-heeled slides that were popular at the time? Talk about a safety hazard walking up (or down) the stairs in high school!
