Young woman found guilty in texting suicide trial

  1. Michelle Carter was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the suicide of her boyfriend Conrad Roy. I am glad she was found guilty. What kind of disturbed individual does this to someone, especially someone who was so fragile? I could not read the complete transcripts of the texts she sent him. It was too upsetting. She may be mentally ill, but that does not excuse her actions.

It was quite revealing that she was convicted but the police officer who shot Philandro Castille 7 times and then watched him die in front of his loved ones was exonerated.

Kinda reminds of most situations since Rodney King (1993 ish) decision.

She will always and forever be known as the girl who kept pushing-pushing-pushing for her 'friend' to off himself, and making sure he did.
Even way before she got tired of listening to him talk about it, she might have told any number of people who could've tried to treat him and help him.
If she wanted to be free of him, same thing.
Well she wanted it to end, and now it has...in court, with her conviction.
What an effing, cold, cruel, stupid idiot.

And the policeman who had a knee-jerk trigger-finger? I cannot for the life of me figure how it was considered justified, and why he was exonerated. PPppfffftt! Disgusting.
