You all had me fooled. I thought only children of the 70's did that to try to keep up with you 80's kids. We thought you were really solving that darn cube. lol.

Oh my gosh! I am soooooo an 80's kid. I was going down the list saying to myself "Yes, Yes, I remember that!" AHHH! The ones that say "wore a pony tail on the side of your head" and "wore spandex" bring on some bad memories....:chuckle

I loved cartoons and would wait for the "rainbow" to leave so that cartoons would come on (the thing that's on when the station doesn't have anything on). I used to wear leg warmers and do step aerobics with those people on tv at 5am. He. He.

Yea, it makes me feel old too.... :roll

um... I learned in mid-80's, that if you own a flathead screwdriver, you can pop off the blocks on a rubics cube and re-arrange them into order... slide the middle row one click to the left, walk into the kitchen, pretend to play with it, and fix it, and scream 'hey! I got it!'....
    well.. it worked then.

and, yes, I remember ALL of that...haha...

Long "Little-house-on-the-prarie" style dresses for prom.
    Teen-line telephones.
    Ratt, Sheena Easton, "Purple Rain..."

    The list goes on....

The thing I found so annoying about Alf, is that they cancelled the show after leaving a cliff hanger from the previous season. Is Alf going to get taken by the government or is he going to meet up with the space ship???? We never got to find out. I was so mad...

I was a musician on a cruiseship playing "New York, New York" probably around the time you were crowning!
    :chuckle :roll :chuckle

I guess feeling old is all relative. "Age" is a state of mind. Right now, I'm 43 feeling 23. . . happy and youthful!

I remember a lot of this stuff in the '80's and thinking. . . "tacky, tacky, tacky. . ."

But not as tacky as the 1970's!!! (Especially the music! I ALWAYS hated disco!!!)

    Here's to "Age and Youth"!

The only thing I didn't do was the rubix cube sticker thing.....I remember playing with one , but never tried any of that stuff, just got frustrated and threw it alot!......Such great memories from that list, the days of clean fun.
