Yaaaaaay!!! Sound the trumpets for Mandi!

  1. If my calcualtions are correct I should be graduating high school in the spring!!! This is the first time in a LONG time that I actually felt proud of myself. I'll get to graduate before everyone else in my class! I didnt think that I was going to graduate for atleast another year.

mandi, i wish the very best for you in your future. just enjoy those years...you never can recover them ya know!

i graduated high school in 2 1/2 years myself, and there are things i missed out on that i wish i could have experienced. we're only in our teens seven years (or so), but we are adults for a much much much loooooonnnnger time, and that can get to be a bit of a drudgery at times. the very things we rushed to get rid of in our youth are the very things we cry for later in life wishing we had just a little more time to enjoy those things when we had the opportunity to. this may be one reason many adults i have encountered (even myself at one point in my life) take so long to grow up emotionally and end up having mid-life crisis starting in their twenties.

all kidding aside.......i leave you with one of my favorite quotes to think about:

"just when you think you've graduated from the school of experience, someone thinks up a new course." -- mary h. waldrip

    much love to ya kiddo!
