XBox: does anyone have it? Or your kids?

  1. It's a new game system. I don't want to say video game system because it is more like a computer. It was designed by microsoft, so you can imagine it is a very nice game system. Awesome graphics.

How about the new role playing game Morrowind? Heard of it? It's completly addictive. Well not for me but if you went to Team XBox Forums you can imagine the talk.

Do you or your kids have XBox? Morrowind? Are you/they completly addicted?

    Just curiosity......

Halo is awesome, but now that my boyfriend has Morrowind we NEVER play Halo or anything else anymore!! I miss playing it, but Morrowind is pretty cool. I'm playing it too, it's a good role playing game. You should have your S.O. check it out online:

Thanks, kristi...i'll show that to Jay tomorrow...(he's golfing tonight, won't be in any shape to play on the 'puter when he gets home...

    Is it multiplayer for XBox?
ALso is it young teen appropriate?
Made the mistake of renting max payne for 12 yr old...looked like a cool game from the TV ads...WOW... alittle too much

even had scenes where his wife and baby were killed...

Well, Morrowind is more of a combat, knights in shining armor kinda game. No guns, more swords, and magic kinda stuff. You can be a thief and steal things and be really good at sneaking. Or you could be a warrior that does kill people. You have to practice on your skills or you won't be very good at fighting or stealing things.

I was going to say something else but I forgot........duhhh.....I'll get back to you. I guess you'll have to decide for yourself if it's appropriate.

    Oh I remember...

You can join certain guilds, such as the fighters guild, theives guild, mages guild. You do certain quests for each of them and get money for it. It's a game for thinkers, and problem solvers, and people that like to explore. You can talk to people in the towns, people may not like you because you're an "outlander" or whatever.

It is an awesome game, but a lot of the gamers, including my b/f, dream about it in their sleep, think about what thier going to do on MW when they get home from work......

It's cute, but I do lose some attention.

yeah, idon't have areal problem with violence in games...just max payne was ALLLLLL violence, no brainer, just kill'em all, see the blood.. and watch me action clip sof them killing off you family, blood and gore and all...that is way ove the line for a 12 yr old.. Halo is bloody, but not so realistically..

I think it will be alright for them then. Jay might like it more. Well it depends on if he likes those thinking games. Has he ever played Azurik?

I like how they've lowered the price on the X-box from 300 to 200 since Christmas! Still though, I don't have one
