Oh well, 15 minutes of fame for her. At her age, it probably won't kill her.

Yanno, I can really put it away when I'm hungry, but competitive gluttony just never attracted my interest. :stone Then again, my idea of a huge meal is Red Robin's Whiskey River BBQ burger and steak fries, and that's only on a day when I haven't eaten anything!

It's funny in a way how our capacity shrinks with age.........when I was young, I could eat four pancakes with syrup without batting an eye; now I'm lucky if I can down half that much, and I feel like a lead weight for hours afterward. My DH was the same way: once he embarrassed me in front of my new in-laws by eating 15 pieces of fried chicken at a family picnic!! I was afraid they'd think I wasn't feeding him......We would also go to our favorite pizza restaurant, order the large sausage-and-pepperoni plus a pitcher of beer or soda, and consume the whole darned thing.......then stroll on down to the yogurt shop for extra-large chocolate frozen yogurts with carob chips on top. :uhoh21: Can't even imagine doing that today......thank God, because otherwise we'd both weigh 500 pounds!!

    Quote from Roy Fokker

Since she weighs only 100 lbs. She probably isn't a glutton ordinarily. She probably did it for the competition and the attention.

I would have been MORE impressed with this supposed woman, had she DONATED 5 3/4 pounds of that hamburger to someone who NEEDED food.

    What a WASTE!!!

gluttons come in all sizes. not all fat people are gluttons...not all skinny ones are conscientious eaters. We can't stereotype or make assumptions; so, to assume she is not a glutton just cause is 100lb is faulty logic. this is indeed glutonous behavior. and rather sickening to boot.
