1. Had to brag a little bit! I live in Sunny So Cal and it's about 90 degrees on my front porch right now!! Actually it's not all fun and games...I think it's another "Santa Ana" and last time we were hit with a really nasty Windy stretch that did a lot of damage!! And it dries skin out somethin' awful...not to mention the havock it reeks on sinuses!!!!

Sorry to those who are freezing!! I'm sure our turn will come - it always does!!

Winters are great where I live; it was in the 80's today. The downside is the months of 100 plus degree weather we get in the summer (115 is not unheard of). I basically do not go outside in the summer if I don't have to.

Gotta love them snowbirds. But we in Florida are having a horribly cold winter this year. They say it's El Nino, but at least we've had some rain along with it. Tonight it may actually dip into the upper 30s. I can't stand it. Funny, it does seem when it's ultra warm out west, it's ultra cold here.

I think today will be as nice as yesterday! It's kinda a bummer, cuz the plants think "hey! It's spring!" and they start budding only to be zapped when the cold weather returns.
Not to mention how dry my mucous membranes are getting - I've had a nosebleed already this am!! YUCK!!
You're probably thinking - "man! why's she complainin' about how warm it is?" Well...lemme tell ya! I enjoy cool/cold weather!! We only got about 2 weeks of it in December! My jasmine bushes bloomed this past week and will probably get nasty frost burns when the "real weather" comes back (we are supposed to get hit with El Nino here too - but it usually hits mid Feb). And our roses are confused too!!! Not to mention the dogs who started to shed...they'll be shiverin' when it gets cold again! oh well.

I sure hope ol El Nino comes through...We sure can use some of that wet stuff, and so can you folks in Calif. Would take more than one wet winter to break the drought, but even a little water would be a start....And help Calif with the brush fires, and help Az. from having another horrid summer like last....I cry every time I drive through the burned areas....
