Wilma, Alpha and the Nor'easter - a perfect storm?

  1. Anybody other than me worried about Wilma joining the current Nor'easter on the East Coast, becoming a "perfect" storm?

I finish my assignment in New England this weekend, and was planning on being a tourist for a week before home to Florida. I am beginning that cannot win for losing here.

My home in Florida held up okay after the reroofing of last Spring.

I don't know, Carol. I know they don't happen very often. About every 100 years or so, but with the stronger weather patterns lately, you can't tell.

With any luck, if it does become a storm like that it will move way out to sea first.

Don't forget that the weather folk are part of the media and could be building up to a big nothing too.

They are saying it's going to be a bad mix, either way... :stone

Crazy stuff out there this year... and a good fifteen more years of it to come from what they are saying!

I'm glad your house held up with no damage this time. That could get old real quick.

FORTUNATELY, the latest models appear to indicate Wilma will move further east and NOT merge w/the Nor'easter as they originally thought. This is good news; I surely hope it's true.

There's a solid mass of clouds over all of New England.

    Dreary. Rainy. Windy. Cold.

Yeah, not sure what the heck is gonna fall from the sky now....be it rain or snow. Very dreary and depression out here.
