My trees are always green, because last time I checked there were no white pine trees growing in the northern hemisphere.

green with clear non-blinking lights and multi colored ornaments

Green with tiny multicolored lights (blinking optional) and multicolored ornaments, with beaded garlands.

Theme trees tend to look a little too stiff and "done" to me, although I know a lot of people don't agree.

I had a white tree once - beautiful.
For the past few years though, our tree has been green (we still have a fake one)...it is covered with decorations my kids have made in school and various ornaments that my husband and I have picked up over the years. Lots of lights, including those little M&M guys, and it's topped with the angel that was on my parents' tree when I was a little girl.
My Christmas tree binkles and twinkles and I just love it.

Green tree, white mini-lights (non-blinking). Lots of multi-colored ornaments, some from my childhood, some that my son has made over the years, just a beautiful mix of all kinds of different ones.

They don't flock trees where you are? My last live tree was flocked. Messy, but beautiful.

Now I have the fiber optic mini tree. No mess, no ornaments, no fuss (like moving furniture) and I like the colors.

Green Tree, with Red, Gold and Green fancy schmancy ornaments, angels, santas, then hallmark ornaments we collect, each family member has their own theme, homemade ornaments from the kids, red and white lights,, some blinking and some not, and some mechanical ornaments that light up, or spin...red, gold and green beaded garland, topped off with a huge red, gold, and green bow with streamers coming down!

Artificial green. Can't have a live tree with a big male dog.

Silver garland, white and colored lights. All the ornaments I've collected through the years and the one's Emma has made. Also, 2 ornaments that light up with the lights (Star Trek Enterprise, Star Trek space shuttle Galileo with Spock saying, "Happy Holidays, live long and prosper! ) A TON of "Caramel" angel ornaments my mother I collected through the years, etc.

Artificial green tree. White non- blinking lights (kitties go after them if they blink- and first kittie to the top wins). All kinda of ornaments and things on trees- lots of little dolls and fun things.
