What would you do?

  1. Okay, in a nutshell I am on admin leave because of something a doc did (or didn't do). This doc and his wife, when they told me they were pregnant months ago....I offered them Little One's crib, high chair, and playpen. They accepted the offer. The plan was for the doc to come to my house in early April to get them. In spite of what happened at work I would never rescind the offer because it was made and accepted before anything happened. I have sent several emails and even talked to the doc once, at which time he told me he would contact me two days hence about what time he could come. Nothing.

    What's your take on this?

    He's embarrassed. Let it go.

I'm wondering if they accepted your offer just to avoid hurting your feelings. Some people are like that when they should just tell the truth. Thanks, that's very thoughtful but we already have plans to go shopping for a crib. If this is their first child they probably prefer to go pick out a new crib together. I agree, I'd just let it go.

No, Dutch, he owns the physician group and is struggling to get it off the ground. They genuinely wanted the stuff.

I already plan to let it go, my last note to them was that if I didn't hear from them by the end of the month I would offer them to someone else. I just wondered why this is happening.
