What to wear when I meet Vegas?

  1. Vegas is a very classy woman, and I am worried about looking like an Oregon hick--we are all pretty laid back and outdoorsy, you know; jeans and T-shirts are pretty much our uniform of choice, with a Goretex jacket added when it gets cold.

WILL I HAVE TO HOLD HER PURSE while she administers some much needed whoopa** to some troglodyte?

Will we end up in jail? Will we meet up with her good buddy Cookie?

Actually, I hope we DO meet Cookie--maybe she can use her knife-wielding skills to scare some poor sucker into supplying us with Aerosmith tickets (dang, alll sold out. And I loooooove Steven Tyler so....)

Will Emma be carrying a purse, too? I hope Emma brings her violin and performs for us.

I can't wait. I think it will be an adventure to remember. Now, maybe I should brave the crowds and traffic of Las Vegas and go out and buy a dress...

To quote our beautiful friend: "LAS VEGAS, BABY!!!"

Something tells me that Vegas is so classy that what you're wearing won't mean anything to her. Just be yourself, and don't try to sneak a look into the infamous purse, and you'll be fine!

After visiting Las Vegas I think anything goes, I am sure you will both shine in your own right. Have a great time.

Probably leave the logging boots at home.
I would suggest a really short skirt and something low cut.
I think red would be a good color.
Some hoop earings would look nice.

Hmmmm I'm pretty willing to bet that I can guess what most 'men' would want to wear when they meet Vegas... HUGO BOSS cologne!

    You guys are too funny!

I was actually considering having Stevierae meet me here at the house so I could stay in my robe and house shoes. But then I'd have to comb my hair. :chuckle

So, instead, since we're meeting for breakfast tomorrow, I'll be in my usual jeans and sweater. I'll bring her over to my house so we can take pics and give her a general tour of life off the Strip!

Oh, and let my 138 lbs Rottie try to climb in her lap for a belly scratch.

Jeans and sweater, awwwwright!!!! SOOOOO glad I don't have to go out and buy a dress!

OK, Rustyhammer, if I come to New Mexico, should I dress as you have just described to meet YOU? Somehow I don't think your wife would approve a cyberbuddy showing up looking just this side of Holly Hooker.

Vegas, wouldn't it be cool if Giusseppe was to show up in his Santa Claus suit, (smelling tastefully of Hugo Boss, of course) and invite us to sit on his lap and tell him what we want for Christmas?

Maybe we could kidnap him and make him our boy toy!!! We've all seen his famous pecs! He looks like one of those mountain men I saw in Tennessee!!!!

(Long sigh.) Well, a girl can dream, can't she?

Oh, everybody, FYI: our talented friend did not tell you, but she has been invited to read her poetry tonight before a large congregation; poetry she wrote especially for the occasion.

Don't be shy, Vegas!!!! Share your writing with us!

Maybe we can get Vegas to write a poem in honor of us, her cyber sistuhs and bros!
