I believe this is called prostitution and this shouldn't even be allowed as an auction. This kid obviously isn't very smart and isn't thinking of all the bad possibilities that he could encounter. Not to mention, since he is under age, anyone doing this could suffer some major legal problems. This is very sad if you ask me! Duckie

This add is four years old and no longer exists. I'm not even sure if it was real or a joke. Putting his age aside, I just thought it was hilarious that some kid would to try to sell his virginity over the net. (my sick sense of humor I guess) I wonder if mom and pops found out???

Not just you, nightowl - I thought it was a riot, too (viewed through the lens that it was likely meant to be a joke .)

Besides, he may be one of the last disease-free virginal 17-year-old males in the western hemispere - that's GOTTA be worth something in this day and age .

I thought it was a joke, too -- doubt if the actual person listing the "item" was the kid whose picture appears. (Only listed for two hours, 17 bids, and already 10 million? I don't think so.)

It's only funny if the person pictured was aware of the ad and consented to it. And I'm not convinced of that, knowing how cruel high school kids can be in the name of a joke.

Interesting site, though. Thanks for the link.

I agree with Jemb . .. my first thought was that this was some meanspirited joke played on a poor kid. I've seen adolescent boys (and girls) being especially cruel to kids who don't fit the "mold". What the heck do we expect when our kids are watching "Jackass" and "Punked" on MTV? (Blocked at my house). Instead of encouraging these morons by laughing at their "joke" we should be condeming them.

edited to add "and girls" :-)
