What kind of TEA do you like?

  1. I have a sore throat today, and was going to make some tea to try to sooth it. I have about 6 kinds! I have Earl Gray, Constant Comment, Green Tea, Licorice Tea, Lipton Ice Tea bags, English Teatime... I don't even feel like deciding what to drink so just grabbed a box!

Just curious as to what you all like?

I drink one to two gallons of iced tea a day.

I use a mix of black pekoe/ green tea bags and let them seep
for a while. Then make the tea.

Don't care to much for hot tea, so I don't need a big variety of teas.

When I have an upset tummy, I drink Chamomille Tea...HOT.

When I want to rest well at night, I drink Sleepytime Tea or Tension Tamer Tea...HOT.

When I go out to dinner, I drink ice water with a squeeze of lemon in it, and/or ice tea.

In the mornings, I just like to drink my soy milk fruit shake, or sometimes when I get up before 0800 in the morning, I'll fix myself a cup of Cinammon/Apple tea...HOT!

Celestial Season's Bengal Spice, English Toffee and Vanilla Chamomile. Stash Chai Spice. Decaf ice tea with lemon. Decaf hot tea with cream. No brand in particular. I think Lipton is slightly bitter. The Cold Brew is OK,though.

I never knew I HAD a tea preference until the Summer 2001, when we vacationed throughout the South.... And THEN it was iced Sweet Tea.... I HATE living here out West, because there IS no Sweet Tea.... People say, "you mean iced tea and then add sugar?" NOOOOOOO.... Sweet Tea in the South is SOOOOOOO beyond anything else you can get, tea-wise.

I can't help but wonder if I was a Southern Belle in a former life.

    Peace

There is truly nothing like a glass of good ole southern sweet tea in the summertime.

As far as hot tea, I prefer Japanese green tea or Oolong.

Teavana has some great teas -pricey but worth it.

I been drinking gallons of iced green tea because I heard it was good for you. I used to drink Lusianne Iced tea before. I don't like the iced green tea as well although it ain't too bad. Good thread Val, nice and safe. Maybe it will be closed, then the controversy can start.
