What is your favorite perfume or cologne?

  1. Hey ALLNURSES,

I just bought a new perfume for myself today--Romance by Ralph Lauren--so I thought that I'd ask all my buddies what their favorite perfume is. I always like to smell nice and try not to overdo it--I don't wear my good stuff to work. I wear Bath and Body Works scents for work as they are lighter and I think less likely to offend.

So anyhow tell me what your "scent" is?

I always used wear Calvin Klein's 'Escape' for work - do you think it's Freudian?
BUT since reading all those opinions about perfume and bronchospasm I have changed my practice!

Actually, I never wear perfume. It makes me sneeze.

So...I guess my favorite scent would be my own stinky a$$.

I like Clinique's "Happy" -- I first bought it to wear on my wedding day, and it's been my favorite ever since...

I rarely wear perfume because I am prone to fragrance headaches. However, on that rare special occasion...I wear Joy. My hubby surprised me with a 1/2-oz bottle several christmases ago (it was $120 for 1/2 oz!) and replaced it more recently. I have to wear it sparingly...it can be strong. It is rose & jasmine perfume from France. Whadda guy, eh?

MUST by Cartier, most of the Calvin Kleins (Obsession, Escape etc) and "Le Baiser" by Lalique.

They're all great and I rotate when I get sick of one.

I also get bad fragrance headaches, but on the rare occassion I do wear perfume, my favorite is "Mackie" by Bob Mackie. It is hard to find, but I love it.

I also like "Red", and even the imitation version of this one is good.

I like Jean Nate--smells light and clean; also I like Crepe de Chine, which is impossible to find unless I go to Tiajuana. I live about a mile from the border, but never go down there. one of these days.
I also like Arpege when I'm feeling nostalgic; I think an old boyfriend gave me some once.
