What is your Christmas craft this year?

  1. Every year I do some kind of craft to give away as Christmas gifts. This year it's soap. I've never done it before, and my first efforts probably look amateurish to the experienced eye, but it's fun and I think people will like them. My 3-year-old painted some wooden cutouts and I glued magnets to the back of them. The grandparents will love it.

During winter break when I have more free time, I think I am going to crochet myself a scarf. And I'd like to teach myself to knit. So many projects, so little time. I don't do crafts very often, but when I do, I get on a roll!

So what is your holiday craft project?

Amy and I are going to do a Holiday video for friends and family! In addition, Amy plans on making her fabulously delicious Holiday Fudge! Yummy!

Will keep us happily busy for the next few weeks!

    Happy Holiday Cheers!

I was going to make a basket up with greens and pinecones and stuff from my yard, but I could only scrounge 5 cones off the ground!! Did the squirrels take them all?

I was thinking of knitting my daughter a scarf for Christmas, simple design and quick to make.

My daughter gave me the idea the other day. She brought home a little wreath she made in art class made out of "Model Magic" made by Crayola. She painted it and it looks so nice. So I ran out yesterday and bought four bags of the stuff and am making a whole bunch of em and hot gluing little safety pins on the back. Im giving them out to everyone at work so they have a christmas pin to wear this year. The left overs I'm making a few ornaments for the tree. They are so neat to paint...like painting marshmallows!

    Crafts. Ha.

I so don't have the patience for that ****. Its a good thing for Pier One, because everyone on my list gets an asian spice candle, a coordinating candleholder/plate thingy, in a gift bag.

Simple. Easy. And they smell great.

I wish someone would buy one for me. *Sniff*

    I've got a couple
I made my hubby a Christmas apron.. I'm also making him a latch hook wall hanging of Tigger (his license plate is TigFan1)
I was going to make a couple new wreathes but Joann's had crap this year, so instead i'm using these huge brandy sniffers and making centerpeices with floating candles in them

Made needlepoint 6" stars --red center and white edge metalic thread yarn with my staff names on them and will hang on a bottle of bubbly along with homemade chocolate covered pretzels as gifts.

Made Polish poppyseed bread for church Advent celebration today. It was gone in 10 minutes and a nice parish member hand delivered my plates to my home.

So season off to a good start!

When I first read this, I thought it said: I made my hubby Christmas porn.

    That's a gift I'd like to receive.
