What do you like BEST about yourself?

  1. All of us have different character traits, some positive and some negative. And each of us place a varying amount of importance on our own, and on others' character traits. It is easy for some of us to list our negative traits. I for one, tend to be gossipy, opinionated, and sarcastic. But I am also, bright, competent, understanding, and posess a good sense of humor. I think my most positive character trait, however is my compassion for others. It is this compassion that enables me to provide good care to my patients, and a loving supportive home for my family. So how about the rest of you? What do you think is your best character trait, and why?

RUSTY GET OUT FROM UNDER THAT CHAIR!!! And change your "most despised member" status or I will ask Vegas to hold my purse! Bet nobody on here thought I had a little dominant streak...

The thing I like best about myself is that I am a kind person and have taught my children that kindness counts. I believe it. I live it.

    well..........

Bad points I'm quite shy and reserved (as first), very very opinunated, and bossy (Mum calls me bossy britches, Dad calls me Matron), dont express my needs well and find it hard to say no (look we're talking work here not what you lot are thinking think I've sused how yout minds work now LOL )

Good points I'm excepting of people and slow to judge, I'm usually very logical and practical and very layed back (cant panic in NICU cos every one else just gets flustered), think I have a fairly good sence of humour (if a little querky at times) and I can laugh at my self, I can love unconditionally (thanks to my Mum :kiss who taught me that) and tend to mother anything or one that stands still enough (now that could be a bad point LOL depends on who you are )

I live what I believe.....walk what I talk.......share only what I KNOW and have personally experienced in real life......and don't like bullshickers in the least.

I have a zero tolerance level for backstabbers, liars, cheaters, pretenders, racists, rapists, molesters, and those who don't walk what they talk.

Dinner time is calling me folks.......bye bye....

I like that I am able to forgive. I am very honest-to a fault sometimes, I've been told. I have a super sense of humor.

RUSTYHAMMER, you get out from under that chair RIGHT NOW, young man. You have had some time to browbeat yourself, and now it is time get over it. You are probably angrier with yourself than any one else here was, and you are not despised, you are loved and respected. This thread is about recognizing our own strengths, and I will not allow you to put yourself down. So here are the new rules: Anyone who says something negative about themselves without saying something positive, too, is going to get a really mean look from me. Anyone who says anything negative about another poster, gets a mean look, and a

So Rusty, c'mon out here and tell us what you like about you. I already know what I like about you, but sometimes others have different perceptions about us than we have about ourselves, so tell us what you perceive as Rusty's best character trait.

Pappy, our hero, read what I said to Rusty, it applies to you too. And you don't have to be serious if you don't want to. A sense of humor is a wonderful trait. Now if you read my last post, you know that I am giving you a really mean look right now, so get back here and say something positive about yourself.
