I am perpetually challenged to choose only ONE color! I have a base coat w/2 additional colors sponged on top. Still a work in progress. I plan to sponge/rag the base color over the whole thing...hopefully, it will look more like I'd envisioned it. Changed the trim from white to cream (wow...big stretch, right? )

You gals are so crafty - I live in an apartment so we have the same neutral offwhite/tan we've had in every apt we've lived in. When we buy I'd like a maroon/hunter green theme. Not sure about the walls.

The color is called Greenbriar- form walmart. It is a cool deep green, but not like kelly or hunter green. It has alot of blue in it.

I love walmart paint in satin- it's cheap so I can change often. I just painted my halls this Cocoa Rose color, and get alot of compliments on it.

I have wallpaper, green and beige. Has a curtain border at the top. I really like it. I had never had wallpaper. Choosing wallpaper was really fun.

Cheap paneling. I'm not sure what is behind it. Thinking about replacing it with new wallboard, or just painting it. Almost anything would be an improvement. Good thing my eyes are closed most of the time!

I'll tell you my room, as I do not live in the 'Master Bedroom'...
I live in the 'Minor Bedroom' and 8'cube of my possessions...
    its like a giant icecube

a deep lavender, with white and navy furniture from ikea...I got this loft bed...its great!

I love the color... did it over a weekend...

My bedroom is not really the bedroom, it is the family room but the 3 real bedrooms in our house are too small...anyway

    Beige.
Beige walls, beige blinds, beige carpet.
It came with the house (3 years ago).

Bedroom furniture is all black lacquer & brass in this oriental style. I hate it and have NO CLUE what I was thinking when I bought it 5 years ago. The husband is on formal notice: find a way to paint it all gloss white so I can redecorate around it OR I am buying a complete new bedroom suite.

BTW...the entire rest of the house is carpeted with MAUVE carpet...my 18 & 19 yo sons just LOVE the pink carpet in their rooms

Off-white. It's boring, but it's a big room with tall ceilings, and I'm too lazy to paint it even if I could decide on a color (which I can't)

Now, that's a good question! White and beige, I think.

I like the idea of sponge painting. Looks great when done well!

2walls off white, 1 wall-- walnut closets, fourth wall we see from bed is wallpaper: green grey narrow stripe with tiny gold rosebuds----leftover from when MIL had stairway papered. Steel blue carpet---for 14 years.

I dare NOT suggest a change. Husband lived in bedroom with blue cabbage roses inhereted from sisters-- "Sanatas paper" was on walls for thirty years 'easy to clean and looks great'. Over his dead body, I had my Dad paint sky blue for sons bedroom---which they never used (bunk beds in larger bedroom) so it became our playroom, now computer central headquarters.

House is 53 years old, white linoleum in kitchen now 15 years old and cracked in few places--just went shopping this weekend for new look with oldest son. Hubby not ready to accept need for a new floor. Gotta love his no frills approach--- and this coming from a family that changed the curtains three times a year for fresh look and repainted every 3-5 years. With working FT, my style is leaning more towards his as hard to fight three men with same ideas.
