What classes did you need

  1. Ok my goal is to get my RN, BSN, & MSN

I want to have the option to be able to be a director of a facility or to be able to teach nursing classes or clinicals.

Do I need to get my BSN in business and Msn in business and then also get my BSN and MSN in nursing also. I am so confused. I don't know where to turn to start looking.

Please guide me on what classes I should look for and what classes I need to be taking. I need some type of direction. With my depression being so bad I can't think straight so I need some good advice from my fellow nurses.

    Thanks for all your help.

A BSN is a bachelor's degree in nursing. There is a BA in business that is available. If you are planning on teaching, you need the BSN, as well as the MSN for most programs.

For the business end of it, you can get your BSN, then go for a double major, such as what University of Phoenix offers: a MBA/MSN. That woull cover everything for you.

    Good luck................

Go for the MSN in nursing, especially if you want to teach.

My spouse has a Masters in Health Care Administration which he qualified for simply by having a BSN. He didn't have to take any more classes. He went straight into the program. I guess it depends on what you want to be the director of.

Good luck with that depression. Are you registering for next semester? It's good to have goals and such, but why not get through this semester first.

Its best to take one goal at a time.I would like to keep going to school until I reach my PHD,but Goals have a way of changing.I'm going for my RN right now,but when I finish with my Prereq's I'm going to wiegh both options and might go straight for my BSN.Which every is the easiest for me to obtain while working full time With each degree, there is so many different directions you can go.You need a MSN to be a teacher, but believe you can run a Facility with just a BSN.I have'nt reseached this, but was told this from others....I was offered Night Foreman position at my Job now,so I'm getting some business skills already. Its tougher then it looks.Good Luck in What Ever you decide to do.Sometimes big Goals can become overwelming,so I try and take a few at a time...Small steps
