What car should I buy?

  1. I'm planning on buying a new car when I graduate from my BSN program and I'm trying to decide which one to buy! I'm debating between a Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS, a Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor coupe, or an Acura RSX-S. Anybody own one of these cars? Any thoughts/opinions?

I personally like the Grand Prix GTP, very sharp, comfortable, sporty, 2 or 4 door.

In order of what I like best
!)Acura- Acura's are pretty good quility, (they are high-end hondas) so they usally last oong and dont need tons o repairs unlike my FORD_>
    Fix.
    Or
    Replace
Daily hehe its got 184,000 mile though!)

2)Mercedes; If it was the high end ones I would say oh yes but I dont have much experince with the lower end ones, IMHO I htink you are paying for a name, but not exeptional quality (esp in the cheaper ones)

3)Mitsubishi - the elipse is cute but I hear they are peices of crap when it comes to quality, they crumple easy in crashes and overheat so I personally would not get one

Dude I wanna new car! Im going to wait until Im done with at least my ADN (or even my BSN if the mustang lasts that long, I really love my musttang but its got a ton of miles on it)

    Have fun car shopping

Well it will depend on your Budget....
The acura is a great car I had one when I was in nebraska and it did everything that it needed to do... then some. worth every dime.Great gas mileage, nice and sporty.
A Merc huh... well are you ready for the insurance payments on it? I got one and its just an E class and the insurance matches the payments... We are paying for the name, performance wise its a good car they last and you do get what you pay for but God help ya if ya wreck it or need a part. My headlights have wipers and the replacements are 150 bucks.... and those are wipers havent had the heartattack yet on replacing anything else.Oh and the Kompressor too.... well thats turbo you might want to multiply insted of adding to your insurance now
Mits- those are great cars as well I hear they get great gas mileage.... have seen alot of them on the roads they look nice

Well, don't laugh but in 1997 I bought a 1995 Toyota Camry with 30,000 miles on it. It now has almost 100,000 miles on it, and the ONLY thing I've had to do, besides normal maintenance, is replace the starter. I hope my next car is a convertible -- but I'll NEVER buy anything but a Toyota.

I agree with Zoe. Mercs are great -- until it comes to insurance and repair bills.

I have the ultimate convertible. A Jeep Wrangler. I looovvve it! I've wanted one since I was 16. I couldn't really get one until my son was big enough to sit up front though. (hes 13 now). Our other vehicle is a 2002 Grand Cherokee. It's nice too. But I love to take the top down on the Wrangler.

I don't recommend buying anything from Mitsubishi.. I heard they are crap cars...

Good Luck on making a decision.. I am not a big car person myself.. I much prefer a SUV.. And I found my dream one.. The Hummer H2

We just bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS Spyder--Dover White Pearl with Sandblast leather interior. 5-speed manual transmission, and is it GREAT to drive. I would strongly recommend it, and right now with the 0% financing, you can't beat the deals out there. Good luck!

Wow, this is gonna be a really tough decision. I haven't checked into how much insurance will cost me for these cars yet, but obviously that is going to factor into my decision. (Oh yeah and I'm still a student until September, a job would be nice too huh??)

Biggest task was what kind of car seat to put in this old grandma's car that would match:chuckle So I'm not that old of a grandma. Have fun looking
