I plan on finishing my BSN, if I don't freak out this first semester and decide it's not worth it.

I'm sure to be as broke or more broke in 5 years than I am now, as student loans will pile up, but I hope to have one debt paid off, and hopefully won't have a car payment, so who knows.

I'll be up to 100,000,000 posts by then.

Finishing my BSN and starting the next degree....but first a trip either to Africa or Italy...or both!

Purchasing some land, on a lake is my dream...just don't know if I'll ever be able to touch it.

Keep my same job...maybe start helping out my community more---meals on wheels or Ronald McDonald House.

And most important--------Keeping My Hair Natural Golden Brunette!

shoot i have no idea what i'll be doing a week from now, nevermind 5 yrs.

    financially stable would be nice.
mentally stable would be even nicer.
    contemplating returning to school....
would like to run/manage an inpt hospice unit.
reacquaint myself with nature, mother earth, father time and make the most of my blessings....
attain a higher level of spirituality and creativity.
focus on guiding and refining children's aspirations and inspirations.
if able, purchase my rickety old shack on the beach.

and finally but perhaps most important, get rid of all the clutter in my life; major overhaul of getting rid of anything that crowds my style and is toxic to my environment.

    On the professional side ...

    1. Publish a couple of articles. I keep putting that off. Participating in allnurses seems to satisfy my writing urge and I never get around to writing the articles I want to write.
    2. Build my endowment fund for nursing scholarships. It got off to a rather poor start this year.
    3. Keep my current job working to improve nursing care (and the working conditions for nurses) at my hospital.

    On the personal side ...
    1. Save the maximum allowed by the government for retirement -- so that maybe I can retire early -- or at least semi-retire early.
    2. Lose about 40 pounds and keep my BP and cholesterol under good control. (I have lost about 15 pounds in the last 18 months and the meds have given me a good BP and cholesterol level -- but I need to keep going with that effort.)
    3. Start taking an ocassional vacation that I actually enjoy. I'm not very good at vacationing and need to work on that.
