A nice bed and breakfast is a great weekend idea.

We just spent a long weekend at a cabin/B and B in the woods...secluded, with a fireplace and deck with a hot tub...quite inexpensive too surprisingly. Very romantic. I highly recommend it....we had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Honestly, I hadn't even thought about it! And my anniversary is this month :imbar: I'll have to think of something, though. Thanks for the reminder.

Our anniversary is in November. I would love to go to a B and B...sounds so romantic

Last year we went to the Opryland Hotel for our anniversary-I had never been. It was expensive, but so nice! It will probably be a long time before I ever get to go again. :chuckle

The problem must be contagious! I forgot about mine which is at the end of this month too! I wish I could offer a suggestion, but I haven't got any ideas for myself either!

That does sound like fun! I don't know where they have those around here, but I have heard about it sometime in the past...so they must have them somewhere.

    Thanks for excusing me, smkoepke!

My husband took me to a nice B&B in Tennessee a few weeks before NCLEX. It was quite lovely. Very relaxing, and best of all.......NO TV IN THE ENTIRE GUEST AREA!!!! WOOOOOT!!! The owner was a gourmet chef, and the food was lovely. VERY relaxing.

Since we just moved, and don't have a babysitter around here, we'll probably be doing something like dinner at Red Lobster (which we both love) and MAYBE, if Nekhi is acting ok, a movie. But of course, he will be accompaning us.
