What are you guys going to do with your Tax Refunds?

  1. OK, so I seriously overpaid on my Federal Tax Returns this year- Yay!!! So, I'm taking my girls to Disney World, and I think I'm more excited than they are ( I have a 3-year-old that is VERY into the whole Disney Princess thing). I never got to go when I was a kid, so I'm going in April over Spring Break, and I'm going to blow half of my money. I'm getting the mouse ears and everything. What are you guys going to do with yours? Anybody doing anything fun or extravagant?

    LMAO Badbird!

I only wish I could go to Disney World...however we are spending our windfall on our credit card bill. Should be able to pay it off. We were going to pay off our bedroom set, but that's free financing and credit card is killing us...grrr.....

Maybe next year we can do something fun.....it's always bills....

Nah, I only claimed 1 instead of 4 on my W4's this year, because I underpaid last year- I swear it's all my money!

Does anyone know how high your income has to go before you get thrown into the higher tax bracket? Isn't it in the 70's? This week I have a good paycheck so I'm finally getting my new bedroom set outta lay-a-way... the woman at the antique shop was very reasonable and understanding that it took nearly ten months! But it was Expensive! $2500! It's italian turn of the century sort of curved head and foot board, a little smaller than a queen size but not as small as a full size, it has a dresser with a huge mirror above it and two side door type mirrors that go to the floor and it has these crystal sconces coming out from the mirror... the top drawer pulls out into a writing desk and the tops of the dresser and two side tables is like a greenish onyx, (she said they were italian marble but I think it's onyx)
Okay now who wants to come sleep with me? I've got a million dollars really... ooops wrong thread!

I had lots of good ideas, but looks like I'll be spending it on my car so I can in turn sell it

Oh well, I'll just save what's left in the teeny savings account

I suppose it's better than paying right!

Well. We're getting some new windows, new exterior doors, painting the house and adding some shutters, and doing some landscaping.

Of course, I have no idea how much we're getting back yet, so we'll see.

I haven't had a refund in 12 years. The treasury hits me big .

This is the only time I've ever really gotten anything back of any significance- maybe I screwed up my 1040A this year. I hope not, because I'm such a budgeter, and with O.T. at work and with F.T. school, I just wanna have some fun for once.

We'll see if we get a refund.
If we do I'm thinking it wont be much.
