And a new chance to start over. Good morning! People are funny - we can't just start new on a Wednesday or on the 11th of a month. It has to be New Year's or a birthday or a Monday. If you are one of those people who needs a symbolic day on which to declare your changes, then why not the first beautiful day of a new month? Join us
Thanks for all the great info on the exercise equipment. (for Jnette - I think the exercise balls run about $20 at Target/KMart/WalMart. It really does make a difference on the back.) I had a stairclimber at home for a long time that was a nifty clothes rack, but didn't really inspire me to move. We are a little short of extra space being in an apartment, but one of our goals when we buy a house is to build a little gym in the basement.
Do you have your water in hand?
Have a great day!

3 bean salad (like Grandma's, but not swimming in oil!)
1 (16 oz.) pkg frozen green beans (or 1 pound of fresh beans, trimmed and snapped if you're feeling particularly domestic!)
1 1 pound can of garbanzo beans/chick peas
1 1 pound can kidney beans
1/2 c diced green pepper
1/3 C. diced onion
1/2 tsp salt
Cook the frozen green beans as directed but for only 10 minutes. Plunge the green beans into ice water until cool and drain, set aside to cool.
1/2 C. Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Freshly Ground Pepper
1/4 tsp. Salt
Rinse and drain canned beans. Pour all beans in a bowl and add bell pepper and onion. Pour dressing on salad and mix well. Salad should set in refrigerate overnight so that the vegetables may marinate. If salad is a little too sharp for your taste after marinating, a little sugar may be added. 1/2 - 1 tsp. mix well.
