Ack - had this all typed out and then got "illegal error" and lost it, so here goes again
Went to the gym quite late last evening and actually got in a decent cardio workout, so I have proven to myself I CAN do it late, it just takes that much more self-motivation.
You all know yourselves best; be honest with yourself when you get up as to whether or not you will be able to kickstart later on if you don't get exercising out of the way first thing
. Remember: this is for you. Don't shortchange yourself with excuses. I find it's best for me never to miss more than one day in a row. If I miss two, then three starts to look easier to skip. Don't berate yourself for lapsing - what's the point in that? Just jump back in! Congrats to those who are "back on the horse" after slipping. We've all been there. To quote a neat lady, "You are not behind!" This is not a competition with anyone but yourself
Your recipe for the day:
Herbed Lime Chicken
1 16 oz bottle fat free Italian dressing
1/2 c lime juice
1 lime, halved and sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp thyme
Combine all 5 marinade ingredients in large ziploc. Reserve 1/2 c marinade and refrigerate separately. Add 4 boneless skinless chicken breat halves to bag. Seal, turn to coat and refrigerate for 8-10 hours.
Discard marinade in bag. Grill checken breasts over medium heat or broil 5-7 minutes each side, basting with reserved marinade halfway through.
