good morning all! Low humidity (finally) here in Texas, so that's a great way to start the day. My plan today is to practice my Algebra- it doesn't come easy for me. No plans to ace this course, just want to PASS. . Going to a co-workers house later for a study group. She's taking Algebra at a different school, so I am hoping her notes will clear up some questions I have.

Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Just to be curious.....what happened to Grace and her starting the GM Thread? Who scared her off? Or is she 'sleeping on the job'?

    Good Morning all.
Well got sissy off to school this am. We had to breakfast at the donut shop this am as we had NO MILK in the house. Of course, you know this was hardly a hardship for the kiddos. Then got back home and put on a pot of coffee (doh) No milk for my coffee. This WAS a hardship.
Letting little man get his shows watched then we gotta head out to the store.
Worked Labor day night. Actually, wasn't a bad shift at all. On of the no-nonsense docs was on. It usually isn't to busy when he is on. I have to laugh when I see people walk by the window and peek in to see which doc is there, sigh and then leave. They then let their friends no it is a no narc night and they all stay away. Makes a good night that you can actually get the sick folks cared for.
Not much on the agenda for today. Just the normal....clean house.
Well I have to go and get some milk for this coffee.

Good morning everyone! Just got up about an hour ago...was up earlier to feed the beasts then back to bed. Busy shift last night. By the time I get home I'm usually exhausted but wired and don't fall asleep until around 1 or 2 a.m.

No milk for the coffee????!!!!??? Unacceptable!!! :wink2: :wink2:

I'm off today, go back in tomorrow so I think I'll just browse the boards a bit while I have my 1st cuppa. BBL!

    Good Morning!

I didn't head over to Chester as my dd came home from school saying her bf wanted to talk to her - he came over and they went for a walk and he accused her of cheating on him and broke up with her and then tossed a large garbage bag full of things she had given him on the ground and drove away. So, I had a sobbing 17 y.o. to contend with. One of the reasons NOT to have a bf.

So, the cheating is not true unless you count talking to other boys at a football game.

He called her back late and they talked for 2 hours (I was asleep or I would have stopped that). This morning he called to wish her a good day. She is thinking they might get back together . . . after all the talking about being treated with respect and being worth more than the way he treated her and the danger signs of a guy who is so crazy jealous.

I actually like this kid - he is a personable guy, spends time with us as a family, plays with our 5 year old, is respectful to the grandparents, etc. But I know he has security issues - his mom is a meth addict and left him when he was 3.

But it isn't my daughter's job to stand around while he figures out his life.

    Ok - enough about that.

Coffee (I use half and half and splenda) awaits.

Good afternoon everyone. Steph sorry to hear your daughter is going through this with the bf. You are right though it is not her job to keep him together. Maybe he has a guilty concious that he is taking out on her.
My kids get really upset when there is no milk.
I have kept my dd home from school for day 2. She is coughing and congested. No fever though. I think I will send her back tomorrow. I need to get things done. Also she seems to be doing better.
Hope everyone has a great day.:wink2:

Good afternoon and happy Wednesday! :kiss

I attended two late morning classes, Philisophy 101 and Human Growth & Development. Now I am home doing some homework and reading before returning to school for an English 101 class at 6pm. I am so far behind on the reading and need to catch up soon before exam time. Anyhow, take care and have a beautiful day.
