I didn't head over to Chester as my dd came home from school saying her bf wanted to talk to her - he came over and they went for a walk and he accused her of cheating on him and broke up with her and then tossed a large garbage bag full of things she had given him on the ground and drove away. So, I had a sobbing 17 y.o. to contend with. One of the reasons NOT to have a bf.
So, the cheating is not true unless you count talking to other boys at a football game.
He called her back late and they talked for 2 hours (I was asleep or I would have stopped that). This morning he called to wish her a good day. She is thinking they might get back together . . .
after all the talking about being treated with respect and being worth more than the way he treated her and the danger signs of a guy who is so crazy jealous.
I actually like this kid - he is a personable guy, spends time with us as a family, plays with our 5 year old, is respectful to the grandparents, etc. But I know he has security issues - his mom is a meth addict and left him when he was 3.
But it isn't my daughter's job to stand around while he figures out his life.
Ok - enough about that.
Coffee (I use half and half and splenda) awaits.
