    Good evening everyone!

DDRN great news on the grandson!

Good luck on your test Alois!

Wish me luck tomorrow when I hit up my MD for that last paperwork. Actually, I've realized I only need her to add a few comments and a quick signature to the existing stuff, so it may not be that hard at all...

Clinicals still not very exciting, little to do but stand around looking at charts. And when I did try to get a patient's pulse, I could barely feel it! Hopefully things will go better next week. On the good side, I've found out that finals won't cover as much material as previously planned, so that makes me feel much better.

Zoe, thanks for starting the day.

Alois, hope clinicals get more exciting. I hate when work is slow and nothing exciting happens. I need the adrenaline to stay awake.

Well, I made it to Target today. Need to go back as I forgot some important things.

    Same here, muffie.

Took ds to Wal*Mart for a few things.

Now I'm home and ready to get ready for bed!
Last nite dh had a sudden terrific H/A over one orbit.
Combined with the N/V and cramping he's had the past two days, I got worried and we spent 1 1/2 hr in the local ER waiting room.
We both dozed a little and when he woke up the pain was gone.
So we checked out and left.
He said he'd make an appt with his PCP.
He's still tender from yesterday's cramping, and today he has aches and pains.
    Yes, he's staying home.

Anyway, I got to bed later than I like (we got home at midnight from the ER), and I had to get up early to drop off both ds and neice who needed a ride.

Not that you needed to hear all that, lol!
    Thanks for listening!

Good evening all. Just got home from working 3-11. Just took two Advil for my headache. And tonight was the night I signed up for extra hours--what was I thinking. A couple of sundowners trying my patience...the poor dears but ouch my head. Oh well...I can now relax a bit.

    Get some rest.

Bethin, I hope you feel better each day.
Good that you got out to Target today.

Joe and Alois, good luck w/tests and studies.

Hi Zoe, thank you for starting the thread!

DDRN, a wedding and a new baby boy!

I'm off to bed, see you all in the morning!

    G'day everyone!
Just a quick goodnight from me as I head off to bed.
I've packed, checked in and printed off my boarding pass, (don't you love being able to do that from the comfort of your own home?!), completed a few tasks around the house, cooked a roast beef for tea and shared the meal with DD who came to wish me a safe and happy trip. So, I'm all set & good to fly out tomorrow!

I'll be gone a week, so you probably won't hear from me during that time. HOWEVER.... if I get an opportunity to check in, I will!

Meanwhile, you mob behave yourselves, (YEAH! Right!), stay safe and healthy, and I look forward to catching up after I return.

Nightey night and farewell for now! :icon_hug:

Have a safe trip Grace! Hope you enjoy your time with your ds. Tell him hello and thanks from some yankee.

I finally unpacked. I still have about 2 boxes left to unpack, but that's odds and ends. All my dishes are out, clothes put away, etc.

I really should go to bed. Night all!

    Have a great Wednesday!

Morning Zoe bethin suzy Muff Grace diary dianah stevie!

Don't know why I'm up so early, but I guess that gives me a quicker start to the day.

dianah, that sounds a lot like a migraine (at least the type I have).

And speaking of migraines I'm finding that as the quarter closes it's not the exams that are the problem, but all the associated things...paperwork, service learning, practice exams, etc...that cause all the stress.
